2-bd tropical beach apartm. w/ deck, pool, cabana

HeatherRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The setting of Henry’s place is beautiful especially the shaded hammock area on the beach by the water. One thing to note is that it was not possible to swim in the sea in front during the stay but there are easy access swimming areas nearby and there is a pool at the house. A car is recommended by the owner and I was glad to have it. The weekly rate was very reasonable and Henry helped arrange it. Leo, the manager, met me at the airport and was easily reachable for questions. Pros: Great sunsets, well stocked kitchen, scuba gear rinse area, nice large washer dryer for use of all 3 units, good AC and wifi, comfortable beds, great sea views from inside the house in the main living area. Cons: That I did not book a longer stay.

Seven Mile Beach with Soul

AbrahamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Reno and Agata were super supportive of our requests. Great location and very comfortable. The AC was refreshing after a day in the heat. They had all amenities to make a stay comfortable. The beach is steps from the place along with shopping stores and restaurants. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you.

Ocean Club Oasis

Charmaine’s place was truly *perfect*! We had our own car and wanted to be able to explore the entire island, and the location could not have been more ideal for seeing everything plus very close to the airport. Everything was clean, well provisioned (we like to be able to cook for ourselves), and super comfortable. Charmaine was very communicative and the rum cake was so thoughtful! We will absolutely stay here again.

Ruby's Hibiscus - Grand Cayman beach cottage

NanceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Peaceful Paradise in East End Ruby’s Hibiscus was the perfect getaway. The private beach, swaying palms, and peaceful setting made it feel like our own slice of paradise. The cottage was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed—plus two porches and a dreamy outdoor hanging daybed. The king bed was super comfortable too! Great location—quiet and relaxing, but close to local restaurants, a dive shop, and about 30–45 minutes from Seven Mile Beach and the airport. Ms. Rhoda and Mr. Isaac were wonderful hosts—welcoming, thoughtful, and always available. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! We will be back and will stay at Ruby's Hibiscus again, for sure.

S4 BP | Steps to Beach | Car, Value, Service

AprilRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Pavilion! The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in easy with all the info I needed upfront. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to beaches, restaurants, a grocery store, and even a 24-hour Subway and ATM. While parking is available if you rent a car, I found everything so walkable and close to bus stops that I didn’t need one. WiFi was great and as a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly safe coming and going.

Beach condo with sunset view

ErinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was my third stay at one of Bill’s places at this location. A great place, nice accommodations, lovely pool and beach area! We snorkeled every day and saw a lot of fish, sea urchins, and access in and out of water! The condo was nicely furnished and supplied all that we needed, even had shampoo and body wash in bathrooms! Great view of ocean and pool and we left our noodles for others to use! Will be back!

Next to Ritz | Oceanview 1BR on Seven Mile Beach

ReneeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Loved having two Adirondack chairs on porch! Communication was fantastic as we needed a couple items that were part of the Airbnb and they were right on it and got it to us very quickly. The place was very clean, which is important to us. We met the housekeeper and she was an added bonus! She let us in and made us feel very comfortable to change as we got there early and we were able to get on the beach to enjoy the rest of our afternoon!!That was an extra top bonus! Loved having some great restaurants walkable. Though we had a car, we did taxi to a few places just because it was so hot and we were dressed up. Tillys was fabulous for sunset, Yoshi‘s across the street for amazing sushi and a great locals place down at Heritage Kitchen near cemetery Beach. It’s a little tiny hole in the wall, but incredible and amazing food and people! They were awesome! Definitely affordable but fresh and delicious.

7 Mile Beach Waterfront-1 Bed Condo. Hidden Gem!

DonovanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This condo is a slice of heaven. From the moment you open the door you are greeted with a stunning view of the ocean and Seven Mile beach. The condo is very clean and has a breezy, beach feel throughout. The balcony overlooks the beach and a lovely grass area, with a romantic corner off to the side which is perfect for enjoying your favourite champagne and strawberries. The beach itself is pristine with lovely loungers (no plastic here). The water is crystal clear and while there are some rocky areas (which offer great snorkelling), you can walk smoothly into the ocean and immerse yourself for hours in the water. The condo grounds are beautiful kept, with tropical flowers and shrubbery. Jayne was a wonderful host and always quick to reply. Fosters grocery store and Jacques Scott liquor shop offered everything we needed during our stay. We look forward to returning to this Grand Cayman paradise.

We absolutely loved our time here. Be sure to bring plenty of money to accommodate your travel needs re: taxi, shuttle, water taxi services. The coffee shop was awesome for a quick breakfast, and we enjoyed the dinners at Kaibo. The place was so perfect for us, never crowded, friendly people, definitely worth it! Thanks so much for a wonderful experience!

Beachfront walkout with amazing patio & view

KathleenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Heavenly! Best Airbnb experience ever. Private beach, amazing snorkeling, comfortable furniture, beds, & pillows. Everything you need is in unit or a very short drive away. Only drawback is hearing upstairs neighbors footsteps BUT not a big deal if you spend most of your time outside. Loved how well this unit was stocked (cooking supplies, laundry detergent, etc.). Lin was extremely helpful & lovely. The design & ambience within the unit are well thought through; charming. Our daughter is in medical school here & we will definitely come back!

Spacious 2 BR on SMB near town

MatthewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It doesn’t get much better than this for Grand Cayman! This place is almost perfect! The location absolutely is perfect! You are a 20 min walk from downtown Georgetown(cruise port area), 20 min walk from Camana Bay, and you’re right on the famed “Seven Mile Beach”. Another great thing about the location is that you are surrounded by numerous restaurants and a nearby grocery store. The place itself is huge with two full bedrooms and a sunroom that looks like it could easily be used as a 3rd. It was just my wife and I, as we were looking to have some extra space given that we brought a lot of scuba gear and planned on doing some cooking while on the island. However, this Airbnb could easily house 6. To those coming from the US, if you’ve ever stayed at a beach condo somewhere in Florida, this place would very much remind you of that. In addition, everything was very clean and well supplied for our stay. Plus, there’s a huge pool. We enjoyed using it when not in the ocean!

Regal Beach Club #411

DavidRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A very nice condo. Ceiling fans everywhere so that the AC did not have to be set very low. Comfortable king bed in the main bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen. 2 nice pools a short stroll away. Plenty of parking. Close enough to walk to Camana Bay and nice restaurants. The beach is narrow but at that end of 7 mile beach, all of it is like that from storms. There is enough room to sit in the sand and go in the ocean unlike some nearby places that have a rocky beach. We would be happy to stay there again.

Little Cay

CrystalRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great spot. Quaint and well located. minutes from 7-mile beach and the turtle center. My husband and I traveled with backpack, so we didn't need much. D was able to recommend a Great Boat tour with Captain Shaun and Curtis. My husband had and small encounter with a neighborhood dog. We recommend if you go for an early morning run, avoid dogs and maybe walk on the other side of the street. Overall, great stay and beautiful Island.

Your guide to Cayman Islands

All About Cayman Islands

An idyllic island archipelago in the Caribbean, the Cayman Islands offer everything from tranquility and relaxation on the beach to adventures full of water sports, shipwrecks, and night tours of the bioluminescent ecology. Located in the western Caribbean between Jamaica and Cuba, the Cayman Islands have an identity all their own. A diverse range of cultural heritages come together to create a persona unique to the island chain. Dive with turtles in the morning, take part in a guided jungle tour in the afternoon, and eat at one of the many fine-dining restaurants in the evening.

Each of the three islands that make up the territory has its offerings and personality. Stay in the country's capital of George Town on Grand Cayman for a full sweep of island amenities, find adventure on windswept Cayman Brac with its dramatic cliffs and thick jungles, or take it easy on Little Cayman with its postcard-worthy South Hole Sound Lagoon that is perfect for swimming and lazy kayaking.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Cayman Islands

The weather in the Cayman Islands is close to perfect all year round, with warm average temperatures that are ideal for the tropical waters and activities the area is known for. The main area of consideration when looking for Cayman Islands house rentals is the high precipitation rate from May through October. Coinciding with the rain is the hurricane season, which lasts from June through November. However, because the islands are in the western part of the Caribbean, they tend to be shielded from most tropical storms and don't get hit too hard.

If your primary concern is the weather, consider booking your vacation rental or condo in the Cayman Islands from November to April, as this is the dry season. If you are interested in checking out the islands’ famous Carnival Batabano, where costumed dancers, street performers, and musicians celebrate the area's diverse cultural heritage, then book your stay during the first month of May.

Top things to do in Cayman Islands

The Crystal Caves

Located on the north shores of Grand Cayman are the mysterious Crystal Caves. Underground lakes, stalactites, and open ceilings that expose the jungle canopy above are all present in this ancient cave system. Navigate at your own pace or hire an expert to journey through the caves and lush jungles outside while getting the formations' ecological and geological history.

Scuba diving the USS Kittiwake

The Cayman Islands are well known for their world-class scuba diving opportunities, including reefs, underwater cave systems, and shipwrecks. For example, the USS Kittiwake was a former US Naval ship intentionally sunk off the coast in 2011. It now serves as a haven for all kinds of sea life, including shrimp, eels, barracuda, turtles, and grouper. This popular dive site can get crowded, so it’s a good idea to book in advance to secure a spot.

Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park

This nature reserve is home to several protected and rare species of plant and animal life, including the endangered Grand Cayman Blue Iguana. A visitors center, floral garden, and heritage garden are all available for exploration and provide the public with a view into the island's unique ecological makeup without impacting the environment.
