El apartamento estaba muy bien equipado para la crisis de energía, el anfitrión se ocupó de que haya un powerbank conectado al WiFi, además tenía una batería adicional para poder conectar la computadora y otros aparatos electrónicos y una linterna grande. por eso nunca fue necesario utilizar el cowoerking del edificio. El edificio tiene planta para las aereas comunes y es muy pet friendly, no se escucha ningún ruido de la calle, se duerme con mucha tranquilidad. En la habitación principal hay un pequeño calefactor, por si las noches son muy frías. Adicionalmente había un botellón de agua, eso nos encantó. Los anfitriones respondían rápido los mensajes y siempre estaban pendientes.

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in Miryan's cabin. We loved it, so close to the center of the city yet one feels like one is in the country. Miryan was an amazing host. She brought us something almost every morning: eggs from her chickens, fruit or avocado from her trees, home made breads and freshly squeezed juices. My husband and I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, meeting new people and buying produce and the many family owned stands. The house is rustic, this is not the Ritz but if you want to truly experience Ecuadorian culture, this is the place. Miryan has three dogs that came by often to say hello. If you are afraid of dogs or just don't care for them, this is not a place for you. For us, it was a perfect 2 weeks.

We had a great stay in Cotacachi. We loved this townhouse. We are travelling with 3 children. Everyone was happy to have so much space to spread out. Great location close to everything. Safe area with everything you need. Highly recommend!

The apartment is great and matches the pictures. I can’t say enough about the host and Miguel. They will help you with whatever you need and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure you feel safe and sound. There is a super maxi, which has everything you could want grocery wise and is $1.50 uber or taxi ride away. There is a small market with essentials and fruit and veggies a short walk away.

Mi experiencia en el departamento fue excelente. Desde el primer momento, todo estuvo impecablemente limpio, lo que transmite mucha tranquilidad. La ubicación es ideal, cerca de todo pero en una zona tranquila, perfecta para descansar. La decoración es moderna y acogedora, y el lugar es muy cómodo, con todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. Jaime is an awesome host. He made our stay unforgettable as always. He goes above and beyond with our requests. He was responsive, friendly and respectful. I was for visiting Ecuador for work and stayed a bit longer than a week in Quito. Cumbaya is a great area and was able to find and purchase all necessary items for a calm stay at the apartment. On top of all, there is a spa, a swimming pool and a parking spot. I was really feeling like at home away from home.

I had an amazing stay at Katty and Lionel’s rural property! The cozy cabana was perfect, with breathtaking views and all the comforts of home. The fresh fruit, yogurt, garden veggies and eggs provided were a great touch. Katty and Lionel’s warm and friendly demeanor made the experience even better—they were always helpful and welcoming. The location is peaceful yet fairly convenient, with easy access to a nearby bus that connects to Otavalo, Cotacachi, and Ibarra. Whether you’re looking to explore or relax, this property is ideal. I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
