Vacation rentals with a pool in Casteljaloux

Everything about this place is top class. The house is absolutely lovely, beautifully furnished in a way that feels both traditional and homely. The location is stunning, a gorgeous commune surrounded by other lovely little towns with lots to see and do. The pool and the garden are fantastic, so nice that we actually ventured out far less than we had originally planned. Our daughters, aged 4 and 2, wanted to move in permanently! Last but not least, Andy and Jacqui are the perfect hosts, super friendly and helpful. This was our first holiday since having kids and we are so, so pleased we chose here. We would love to return.

Had a fab family holiday, the house and pool were beautiful. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet, but it's only a short walk into the town. A very hot week and a half, so the pool was well used every day! Someone came by every few days to put the pool cleaner machine in and to top up the water. Good size bedrooms and upstairs bathroom and the kitchen had everything we needed. We didn't use the lounge area very much as we were outdoors most of the time, but it was also beautifully decorated. Pasties on arrival were a welcome treat! Wouldn't hesitate to return for another holiday. Thank you Mamesse!

This beautiful Gite was perfect for us. We loved the peaceful location, the well kept grounds and the beautiful pool area which we only sometimes shared with the 2 occupants of the smaller gite. Often, we had it to ourselves. Chris and Debbie were really lovely and helpful with lots of recommendations- from markets to local restaurants. They set up a private chat group when we arrived so they could be on call if required and pass on any useful information. Debbie arrived at our door one day as we headed out for a trip with a cool box, which was a lovely gesture . On another day, she arrived at the pool with a jug of chilled sangria. Their lovely friendliness contributed to our enjoyment of this property. As someone who is often a gourmet buffet for local insect life, the mosquito nets over the beds were very welcome. Our girls loved the grounds, including the swing next to the gite, although the pool made it for them. We would happily recommend it to everyone we know.

De plus même si nous 'avons pas pu rencontrer Dominique,nous avons échangé par téléphone et message ,elle s'est toujours montrée très réactive,a donné de bons conseils et disponible lorsqu'il fallait! De plus le logement étant sitié en retrait d'un axe,calme et quiétude garantis ,sans oublier la piscine +++

Ricardo est à l’écoute, disponible et proactif. Piscine, spa et hammam privatif. Le logement est parfait, je n’ai que des compliments à faire Merci !

la maison est superbe! Bien equipee, belle vaisselle, bonne literie. Un oasis de calme dans Bordeaux, avec le centre ville en 25 minutes a pied et 8/10 minutes en bus. La piscine est un plaisir. Toute notre famille est enchantee de notre sejour. Et merci pour votre accueil tres chaleureux et votre disponibilite.

We enjoyed a lovely 4 day break in Cezan in Hughes and Babette’s comfortable Gite. The gite was spotless on arrival and every need was catered for. We were able to enjoy the large pool and even cooked on the kettle barbecue on two evenings. Babette was extremely welcoming and friendly. We hope to return again. Merci beaucoup!!

Phil's place checked off pretty much all of the boxes - only minor drawback was the lack of air conditioning, but Bordeaux unusually warm and we managed. Phil was superb in greeting us, explaining everything in the apartment, showing us specifically how to get to B tram, etc. A truly nice and thoughtful person. Loved the location - quite safe - slight noise issues (local bars), but it was away from the throngs of people (locals and tourists), and the B tram and maybe one transfer got you to pretty much anywhere you wanted to go. Lidl and Monoprix groceries just steps away. Kitchen had everything we needed (ate pasta in one night), living room sofa was quite cozy, and balcony was quite nice (just right side has better views). Appreciated the washing machine, which we always look for on multi-week trips. Did Bordeaux City Card (3 days 55 euro/pp) good value. Submarine base quite cool. Pizza kiosk was good! Thanks Phil!

Nous avons passé un très moment dans le logement. Thuan est venu nous chercher à la gare. Nous a permis de disposer du logement plus tôt et beaucoup plus tard . Logement très propres, très agréable. un petit plus pour tout ce que Thuan nous laisse à disposition qui évite les achats pour quelques jours. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine ce qui est très agréable. Thuan est très sympathique . Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Super week-end chez Mathieu, l’appartement est propre et très bien équipé. L’immeuble est calme, sécurisé et on peut y garer sa voiture. Je recommande fortement !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Logement conforme au descriptif, et très accueillant. Endroit paisible pour se ressourcer, site magnifique et animations à volonté aux alentours en cette fin de période estivale. Hôte réactif et conseils avisés qui nous ont permis de faire plus que ce que nous avions prévu.

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.

Les propriétaires sont extrêmement sympathiques et au petit soin . La maison est très grande et très confortable. Tout pour passer un excellent séjour en plein nature

Nous (6 adultes) avons passé un excellent séjour au Moulin de Rabine. Le site est onirique, restauré parfaitement, aménagé avec beaucoup de soucis et de goût! Tout confort! La piscine est très bien entretenue, spacieuse - un endroit idéal pour se reposer! Cancon propose quelques commerces dont un bon boulanger. Le marché de Villereal, environ 10km, offre d’excellents produits régionaux. Conclusion - le moulin est un pied à terre idéal pour découvrir le Lot et Garonne, et la Dordogne.

Maison très paisible et reposante dans une superbe région. Les hôtes sont très réactifs et à notre écoute.

Bon sejour. Bel accueil à notre arrivee. Grande maison de campagne tres calme sur un grand terrain. Belle piscine et beaucoup de jeux pour adultes et enfants. Maison bien equipee mais peut-être un peu vieillot a notre goût.
