Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Canterbury Region

Perfect location if you want to walk to stores or restaurant instead of driving. House was better than expected in terms of design and vintage look. Checking in is hard initially but I would ask for instructions beforehand and then park at the front of the Heritage if you’re coming by car, then drop the bags and park the car. Parking is very tightly spaced so be aware if you’re coming with a van. On the left side of the main entrance, there is street parking and a parking garage that you can pay for.

we had a great stay, was a great location was bright and sunny, had an amazing shower with great pressure and love that there is a pool and gym, the place was clean and Devon was so helpful and communicated so well. will definitely stay again.

Loved the space and location! Had everything we needed. Very spacious and tidy. Beautifully decorated and set up. Central location which was very useful for travelling in and around the area. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back if we are to return to Chch! :)

clean ,spacious, very easy access

This place is great if you are looking to be near downtown but not right in the middle of everything. I stayed for several weeks, and they came to clean once a week, which was very nice. The only thing I would improve is having outdoor furniture. There are 2 outside areas but nowhere to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Otherwise everything was wonderful.

We had a great stay. Very quiet, despite being very close to supermarket and restaurants. The house was very relaxing and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay—it was cozy and warm even without the heater on. The host was also excellent at communicating. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning, comfortable home in gorgeous surroundings. The outdoor bath was a winner and Lisa was so helful and fast to reply. I stayed at Lisa's with four friends over Christmas and everyone absolutely loved it. Highly reccommend, andvwould love to stay again.

Where do I start! Amazing, without a doubt the most beautiful and well presented retreat I have stayed at. Attention to detail was second to none, an unbelievable and overwhelming experience, private and peaceful yet, if requested, Sean would respond in minutes. The property boasts so many additional features over and above the building itself, outside full bar area, fire pit, full laundry, gym to name a few. We stayed for 2 days and 2 nights and didn’t want to leave (I even enquired whether the property was for sale). Don’t hesitate to book this property, it would not be possible to be disappointed. Thank you Sean and Skip for your hospitality. Truly amazing place, beautiful and we didn’t turn the tv on once, why would you when you can relax in such stunning surroundings and in front of a roaring log burner. Totally amazing experience, do not miss out on this one! It’s better than all the rest.

My whanau and I needed to be in CHCH for a tangi. Paul was incredible throughout the entire process from booking to checking out. Paul’s communication through was prompt and clear making the booking easy. Following checkout Paul also reached out and offered to courier something that was left behind… As you could imagine it was a pretty stressful time but he was understanding, flexible and kind throughout. Paul’s home was also fit for purpose. The amount of bedrooms for 12 of us and the additional stretchers he provided worked perfect fully numbers wise. The backyard was just amazing for the kids - especially when we needed them out of our hair to relax. The basketball goal and the swing an absolute hit. Annette’s home is a perfect place to stay in Akaroa. Great location with beautiful views. The house is very well stocked with everything you need. Beautiful and clean. Annette is a wonderful host who always responded to our messages and was flexible with our check out. Would definitely recommend this home.

Michel and Jackie's house is beside the sea.The view outside the house is extremely amazing. Michel and Jackie are very warm and friendly. They almost provided everything we needed. The entire house is very clean and tidy, and it's also very convenient to park outside. This is truly the house of our dreams. If we pass by Christchurch next time, we will be back here!
