What a great apartment in a great location. We loved our stay here. Great food and shops nearby and easy to walk to the Castle and Abbey. The flat itself was exactly as described and beautifully decorated. It was a very relaxing stay. And the instructions for checking in were great. The parking space was a real bonus too. Thank you!

A very smart beautifully furnished centrally located apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed the diverse neighborhood with great restaurants and galleries within a short walking distance. Everything in the apartment has been well thought out and artfully curated. We appreciated the secure adjacent car park. The pre-arrival instructions were excellent. We look forward to staying again. The property is amazing - beautifully decorated, comfortable and in the historical heart of Caen. At the same time its quiet and private. We loved it! Marie is an amazing host - warm, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Séjour de 4 jours au top !!! un grand merci à Elvira et Bruno pour leur disponibilité lors de nos échanges et pour ce logement très bien situé : quartier calme mais très proche des grands accès routiers et d'une zone commerciale. La maison correspond à la description et aux photos. Grandes pièces lumineuses, propreté impeccable, literie confortable, équipement complet. Stationnement facile dans la cour ou dans la rue. Vraiment rien à redire 👌😊. Nous recommandons sans hésiter : il s'agissait d'un premier séjour en Normandie, nous avons fait de nombreuses visites dans les alentours de CAEN et c'était un plaisir de rentrer en fin de journée dans le logement.

Helene’s place was perfect for our time in Cabourg. It is a lovingly restored building from the Belle Epoque era of the 1800’s. No details were missed and the interior design is spot on. Caroline was who communicated with us and she made our stay very comfortable. Cabourg is a lovely seaside village under the radar for most Americans. We enjoyed our time and would happily book this place again. My husband and I are touring cyclists. This lodging had our necessary requirements, secure storage for our bikes and walkable to everything. It was that and so much more!!! If you book it, you won’t regret it.

Le Pressoir was a fantastic location for a chilled family break. The property itself was lovely - spacious, light, nice interiors, well appointed and exactly as per the description. The owners had thought of everything - not only the basics like plenty of crockery and cutlery but also thoughtful touches such as charcoal for the barbeque, pool accessories etc. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. There was an added bonus of young foals in the adjacent field which the kids loved. The pool was gated, warm and well-maintained. The only slight drawback for us was that you need to drive to get to decent sized local supermarket and/or restaurants to eat out but we knew this beforehand. All in all we would highly recommend this property!

What a beautiful place to stay! This was a wonderful central location for exploring Normandy and a comfortable and peaceful haven for rest.

A hidden gem on the Normandy coast. Close to the museums and D-day beaches. A number of free places to visit near the property in walkable distances. Port-en-Bessin a 5 min drive away with lots of lovely shops - the bolangerie was awesome! The house itself is extremely well done. The photographs do not do it justice. It was the loveliest holiday home we have stayed in. Will visit again!

We had an amazing stay with our young baby at Samuelle's place. The converted farmhouse building has a lot of character but was also modern and comfortable. The lake and ducks outside the door was very relaxing. The location is very quiet and peaceful. A car is essential for getting to local amenities but a large supermarket and a bakery are only a 5 minute drive away. The D Day landing beaches, museums and historic town of Bayeux can be reached within an easy 20 minute drive. Samuelle was a great host, she was very friendly and always able to help with any questions.

I've stayed in this house a number of times and it is a wonderful place to stay. Very close to the beautiful harbour of Port en Bessin, which is right in the middle of the D-Day beaches areas in Normandy, the house is spacious, comfortable, modern, well equipped and extremely clean. It has very nice outside space front and back, free parking right outside, a nice view. Highly recommended.

We were a group of pensioners on a photographic trip. The accommodation was perfect for our requirements. The beds were extremely comfortable and had some of the best night's sleep I've had for sometime. The location is perfect for our requirements, within an easy driving distance of the Normandy Coast, which is what we required. It is only a short distance to the city centre of Caen and quite a few restaurants within easy driving distance. The accommodation is on a equine farm but is perfectly clean and tidy. If I could mention one small detail as I wonder if we could've been provided with larger bath towels as we were all gentleman of a certain build. Gael was an exceptional host and very helpful when we sought his assistance. Would certainly recommend this as a base for touring Normandy.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Chantals liebevoll eingerichtetem Ferienhäuschen! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort rundum wohl. Chantal ist eine äußerst sympathische und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die uns mit tollen Tipps zu Ausflügen, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten versorgt hat – das hat unseren Aufenthalt wirklich bereichert. Das Häuschen selbst ist frisch renoviert, mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders angenehm war auch der eigene, sichere Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig, aber dennoch perfekt für Ausflüge, zum Beispiel zu den D-Day-Stränden oder ins wunderschöne Bayeux, das nur einen Katzensprung entfernt liegt. Wir können diese Unterkunft und Chantal als Gastgeberin wärmstens empfehlen – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

L'appartement est très cosy et bien décoré. Fidèle aux photos. Il y a tout le nécessaire sur place. La résidence est très jolie et calme. Marie Danielle est une hôte très réactive et arrangeante. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Très joli appartement aménagé avec goût dans l’emblématique ancien Grand Hôtel d’Houlgate. Tout est accessible à pied, nous avons passé un très agréable week-end.

Would love to stay again, due to proximity of the lovely beach and other nearby villages worth visiting. The sea views from the house makes you feel relaxed. Also, the beautiful library and expo hall in Deauville incl restaurant is a short stroll away. i thought this place had a very clever layout: lots of (inbuilt) storage and in general a nice flow. Our boys (2 and 9) felt at home while playing on the floor, watched some tv and entertained themselves building a fort with minimal things such as cushions and bedding in the living room and childrens room, while we were preparing for a day out or making dinner. Last but not least, Audrey is the best!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un appartement impeccable, rénové récemment, avec vue sur la mer. Pas besoin de voiture, tout est à distance à pied, on a profité de la digue et de la plage de sable fin. Merci à Christelle pour son accueil, ses consignes et ses conseils.

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

Nous sommes deux couples de québécois qui souhaitions visiter les plages du débarquement et ses musées. L'appartement a très bien répondu à nos attentes: il est très bien situé (à 25 minutes à pied du musée de Juno Beach, notamment), dans un secteur tranquille. L'appartement comme tel est vraiment confortable, très propre, avec une cuisine bien équipée. Le lit et le divan-lit sont parfaits, nous avons tous très bien dormi! Merci Valérie et Manuel pour ce séjour exceptionnel!
