Die Unterkunft ist sauber und geräumig. Die Ausstattung, insbesondere der Küche ist ausreichend – ein Pfannen Wender war das einzige, was wir etwas vermisst haben. Sehr schöne Unterkunft, im Winter besonders gemütlich – sehr empfehlenswert.

This was a perfect jump off point for exploring the area! Short drive in every direction for hikes and attractions. Sleepy little town with amazing views right out front. Loa was wonderful with recommendations and information. The home was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Nice cabin with great location to explore the Snaefellsnes peninsula. Even though we didn’t have the chance to try his restaurant, it looked nice and reasonably priced

This was a fantastic little place to stay as we neared the end of our 10 day ring road journey! We checked in 30mins after the cafe closed but they still made us a full dinner and helped take it up to our room. The young woman who checked us in was responsive, helpful, and kind. The extra 10% discount at the cafe was also great! Everything was as described and it felt very homey.

If I could give this Airbnb 10 stars, I would. My mother and I have been traveling the ring road for the past 10 days and Halldor’s Airbnb has been our favorite so far. The unit was clean, roomy, and very bright and airy. The best part about the Airbnb was the surroundings…. You are allowed to walk about and even interact with the horses if you wish, which was awesome! I LOVED being able to walk over to the horses and feed them some bread and give them a little pat on the nose. It really made my day. Halldor left a great house instruction manual that gave you all the information you need to know. If you are looking for a place to stay along the ring road, look no further!
