Bright and very quiet COCON

Located in one of the oldest shopping streets in Rouen where several artisans and artists are active, and in a fully renovated historic building, the accommodation has been refurbished. A truly privileged setting close to the city center Initially, nothing suggests that by pushing the massive carriage door of 153 Rue Beauvoisine, the visitor will find themselves in a vast space completely disconnected from the street, a true haven of peace and tranquility. It is not for nothing that the residence directly adjoins the Convent of the Visitation -1630- (Museum of Antiquities). Then, walking through the alleys of the inner courtyard of the residence, the traveler ends up at the entrance hall of block C and goes to the first floor where apartment 17 is located. Upon entering the apartment, two of our senses are immediately struck: the calm and the brightness. The accommodation overlooks a garden terrace directly adjacent to the convent. With this apartment, you can't dream better than to go and discover Rouen and then come back to rest. In the accommodation you will have a large two-seater sofa bed and I will provide you with a set of breakfast foods as well as some other bathroom accessories. The property is accessible in its entirety and you will feel good there. The number is no longer displayed, so I'll give you some details about its location for ease... The building is located just next to the well-known BAR L'EMPORIUM with its red storefront, on the left sidewalk going up the street and in front of a cooking workshop with a pink window. I will wait for you there each time to open the large contemporary door in very light wood. There will be 2 access doors with codes. I will give you the numbers as soon as you arrive. But don't worry, I'm always available and accommodating. I am conciliatory and accommodating by nature. So don't hesitate to use my services if you feel the need. Delphine’s gîte in Boissay was by far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. After two years of touring Europe our stay at the property was everything we could have hoped for. Delphine is both attentive but inconspicuous. We loved the peace and quiet and the property has everything you might need - being very well appointed. Very good stay at Julien's. A nearby walk for dog owners. Julien is very friendly and welcoming. We were able to arrive at the desired time and also leave when we wanted. We were sensitive to its "animal-friendly" side because our Labrador had a very good experience. This is a place we recommend!

Caroline is a friendly host. She speaks perfect English. -- The apartment is quiet and has a large garden that you can use. Lots of birds sing there. -- From there you can quickly get to the coast, the Seine or the Forêt de Brotonne. -- Interesting for bird watchers are the "Parc Naturel des Etangs de Pont Audemer," the "Forêt de Brotonne" and the "Réserve Naturelle de l'Estuaire de la Seine."

We loved the area, especially the forest nearby. Absolutely beautiful - peaceful with lots of options for various hikes. Walking along the river path to take the ferry across to the nearby town was a special experience. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind so we weren't able to enjoy the swimming pool or tennis court. Jean Francois is charming and a gracious host, the gite is cosy and well equipped with everything you need. Definitely recommended and we'd like to stay again when we could enjoy the extensive facilities.

If you want to escape from everything (including wifi) this place is just lovely. We had 3 nights there with our 3 kids ranging from 2-8 and we all loved it. Having cows and chickens within 100 yards of the house the kids thought was something special and Claire kindly left us some Easter eggs and fresh eggs out whilst we were there. Stayed in Marc's wonderful home for a family holiday. We had a lovely time. The house is plenty big enough for all of us (8 adults & 3 children). The kitchen is large and well stocked. We loved the heated pool and when it rained, we enjoyed the darts, foosball table and pinball machine. The local area is great too. Nearby supermarkets, lovely restaurants and easy to catch a bus to Rouen. Marc was very helpful too when I had any queries. I would definitely recommend.
