Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying in this beautiful home! The views were breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings were truly serene. Plus, there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The only downside was the pool. It was a decent size for our family of four, but it was surprisingly chilly, even after we followed the instructions to close the pool cover each night.

Great house for a family vacation! The house has all facilities you need and is located conveniently close to Suze-La-Rousse (small village with some nice shops and restaurant).

Gite ideally placed to shine on the different activities around Vallon Pont d 'Arc. Quiet, well-equipped, the pool is very pleasant. We had a lovely stay.

Everything is very good, the responsiveness, the hospitality, the accommodation. The location is ideal for hiking, sightseeing. It is the crossroads of Ardèche, Cévennes and Gard. The accommodation is charming, very functional. The setting is beautiful. And the kindness of Anne and Pascal. A property we'd like to keep just for ourselves.

During our three-day stay in Southern France, the five of us found this place to be just like home – warm, spotless, and incredibly convenient. Though the rooms weren't particularly spacious, the stylish furniture made it a perfect holiday cottage. Our host was wonderfully hospitable and thoughtful, providing an array of coffee cups and tableware that we absolutely adored. We'll definitely be returning on our next visit!

Had a great leave! A very nice house with everything you need! Nathalie ne dominique is always there for their guests. Very nice domain and very well maintained. There is air conditioning on the lower floor and upstairs there are very good fans ready. There are shutters to keep the freshest in the house. Very smooth communication, very nice! pool was very ok, enough sun loungers, extra refrigerator, freezer..... thank you dominique and nathalie for the pleasant stay!

Great stay at Pat and Marie's! The accommodation is quiet, well located and very well-equipped. Pat is a very good source of information for discovering the region. The pool is a real plus after a day sightseeing. We highly recommend it and will be back with pleasure!

This listing is beautiful and is located in a splendid setting. It's total calm. There are some very nice hikes to do in the area. We came at a time when it was not very hot with a lot of rain. The heating system is a small slow-burning wood stove that we had to supply with wood throughout our stay to heat the home and remove moisture. But this stay was a unique experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Valerie's accomodation! The location was beautiful and peaceful, with great access to nearby villages and sights. The home was clean, cozy, and beautifully furnished. Valerie was very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout. A perfect spot for a relaxing getaway—I’d happily return!

This truly is a magical place to stay! It would be worth it for the beautiful terrace and views alone but the whole house is up to the same standard and has a Zen like atmosphere. We had a week of superb weather and really fell in love with the Ardèche. Great hikes start right at the house. Mirjam and Benjamin are very welcoming and professional hosts. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this rental and hope to return!

The photos don’t do it justice - this is a beautiful apartment, super clean and modern and in a lovely quiet street. Super accessible to the centre of town with lots of bars and restaurants. Sylvie was great, I recommend this spot!

We had a great time at Claude's place. The house is very well-equipped, everything is thought out for the comfort of travelers (high quality bedding). It's best to have a vehicle to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the outdoors as much as we wanted, due to the capricious weather and voracious mosquitoes. Claude is really a real plus in this rental, very welcoming, good advice, while remaining discreet, which allows you to enjoy the stay in peace. The small touches (bottle of rosé, olives from the garden) made us very happy and were more than appreciated. We highly recommend this listing!

What a beautiful home and location. The house is in a cluster of stone homes in this spectacular hill town. Cobblestone paths, beautiful gardens and ancient architecture and history. Pierre was helpful in carting our suitcases through what looks like a Harry Potter village up to our very modern, comfortable house. A unique Provence experience.

We had a great time at this beautiful place. The house is wonderfully embedded in nature. It is very quiet, you only hear the sound of nature, the stream, the animals. From there we had many opportunities to hike with our dog. Banne and the surrounding places are wonderful for those who love hiking or the countryside. It was very clean and beautifully built and furnished. Anne was very nice and discreet. We were able to enjoy this privacy very much. The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need. The house in the small Hamau is very quiet and very private. The nature, the surroundings, the house and the pool are brilliant. We felt completely undisturbed. We had contact with Johanne several times by phone. She gave us a lot of tips and detailed explanations. We were even allowed to meet her mother Nathalie with her partner in person. As well as the neighbors, an artist who showed us his studio (out of sight) and who rebuilt all the Hamau years ago. They were all sooo warm! We spent unforgettable holidays here! We will definitely be back!

Delphine and her spouse are very friendly and welcoming, a real favorite, really in accordance with the descriptions and spacious... this accommodation is a joy to discover in fullness and delight the beauty of the villages of southern Ardeche and its rivers. A beautiful melodious interlude on the terrace, because the swallows make spring well in the company of the sparrows and the chirping of their chicks, and the cooing of the pigeons and turtledoves. A great pleasure to recommend this cottage.
