Great stay at Teo's. a very nice and cozy little house that's aptly named. We appreciated the proximity to shops and the beach while being in a very peaceful neighborhood. more than favorable weather in this last week of April. We will be back. Thank you Teo

We LOVED our stay in Sommervieu. The house was simply idyllic, surrounded by flowers and with a nearby (but not too close!) field of friendly cows wandering by. The house itself was very quiet, comfortable, and fully equipped, with everything one would need in the kitchen, loads of books and games, and firewood for a roaring fire. We didn’t use the bikes or outdoor seating because the weather didn’t cooperate, but would love to come back and try them someday. Sophie and François were super attentive, offering local suggestions and also pointers for when we moved on to Paris, suggesting a restaurant in Paris where we later had a delicious lunch! Thank you so much for hosting us, we hope to come back!

We cannot say enough good things about Christian’s Chateau! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and made for a very peaceful start to our month long Europe trip. We loved greeting their horse and chickens each day and waking up in the bucolic countryside. It was the perfect gateway to Normandy and had everything you could possibly need for a memorable stay. The bedrooms were huge and beyond comfortable and you literally have an entire castle to yourself which makes you feel like royalty! The decor is whimsical and Victorian and adds to the charm and homeyness Christian certainly treated us like royalty too; he answered all of our questions in a timely manner, gave great area recommendations, and even left us a basket of delicious croissants for lunch! We relished the peace and quiet of this Airbnb and feeling like we could truly rest and escape the hustle and bustle. Thanks for being an amazing host and making our time in France so wonderful, Christian! :)

We had a pleasant stay. The house is very cozy and well decorated. Finally, the house is well located, very central to shine in the different villages.

We loved our stay at Estelle’s beach house. Estelle is very responsive and was very flexible with check-in when our arrival was delayed. Merville-Franceville Plage was the perfect location for the second leg of our trip to France - a great place to relax and unwind after a few days in Paris and centrally located for the day trips we wanted to take. Easy parking in front of the house, a peaceful and spacious patio space for hanging out with a glass of wine… just lovely.

I would 100% recommend this listing. Celine our host was responsive and very friendly. All the instructions were clear and the listing matches the photos and our expectations. Very well located and very well equipped, we were with small children, we had everything we needed. Thank you very much for this Norman break in this very nice setting.

Fantastic location seconds from the beach on a very quiet lane. Very secure yard if you bring dogs! Everything you need in the apartment - it is very well fitted out. Clément is a caring and responsive host. I recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful house, thanks to an exceptional host, helpful and very friendly. The breathtaking view of the waterfront, which could be enjoyed from very comfortable chairs, was a real plus. The house was ideally located, steps from the city via a well-maintained promenade along the waterfront. It was also perfectly equipped and impeccably maintained, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. Parking in the garden was simple and convenient. I highly recommend this rental.

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

Second time here. Location fab in historic area of Caen. Above lively street yet very quiet. Loads of character too. Caen is a vibrant and cultural city which is clean and civilised. The public transport is modern and effective.

Things we loved about Robin’s apartment: the Chateau immediately across the street. During the day, the Chateau intrigues. At night, it attracts, with its beautiful lighting. The Vaugeaux neighborhood is a mere 5 minute walk away to take you back in time. Plus, so many restaurants to choose from! Oh and the Twisto is just out the door! Robin included helpful suggestions for the Beaches, restaurants, and walking tours. Robin was also accommodating of our changing schedule. We hope to visit again!

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

The property is amazing - beautifully decorated, comfortable and in the historical heart of Caen. At the same time its quiet and private. We loved it! Marie is an amazing host - warm, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Leila ‘s place was amazing! Beautiful place that is very well taken care of and very clean. There are coffee shops, restaurants, bars, shopping, and wonderful historical buildings all within walking distance. Great price from an amazing place to stay while in Caen!

Very suitable accommodation for family or friends Pleasant and practical spaces

We had a great birthday weekend with suitable weather. Everyone was happy! Practical house for people with limited mobility, large families and dogs who were able to enjoy the garden. Very responsive and attentive host. To be repeated.

Caroline's house was perfect for our family holiday. It was very clean and well equipped for both adults and children. Easy walking distance to local amenities and beach. All queries were answered immediately.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

We spent Christmas and New Year at Marianne's place for 6 (+toddler and dog)! It is a beautiful,cozy and modern house with sea views! Each couple has their own area incl. Bathroom. The fully fenced garden was great for our dog and the fireplace brought the right mood! The beach is within walking distance! By car, you can quickly get to shopping and get to all the typical sights of Normandy relatively quickly We would definitely come back!
