We loved our short stay in the Panora lodge. The view was beautiful and it was very peaceful with the sound of the wind and the river. The space was big, thoughtful, and clean. We really enjoyed the kitchen and hot tub. The little surprise in the fridge was a nice plus. - Thanks Alex & Mollie

Comfortable, tranquil stay in Baie Sainte Catherine. Had the best two nights of sleep I've had in a long time! I was impressed by the quality of the chalet—I was expecting more rustic but was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and amenities. If you are looking for a VERY practical location for whale watching from the AML Baie Saint Catherine quai, look no further—it's just a few minutes drive. Just keep in mind the area is quiet and there aren't many restaurants close by, so you'll need to go to Tadoussac for dining options. We enjoyed the quick ferry over to Tadoussac for dinner, but also enjoyed coming home to this refuge, which was well equipped for its size with mini kitchen, clean filtered water and a really nice shower. It was so relaxing to breathe the fresh air, sit around the campfire in the evening with a glass of wine, and sip coffee on the balcony in the morning looking out at the beautiful view of the fleuve, with the faint sound of fog horns in the distance.
