Vacation rentals with a pool in Ballena Bay

Wow! That was the overwhelming feeling our group had about our time at Mountaintop Mansion. It is an outstanding property that is far exceeding our expectations. It's not often that you say "This place is way more impressive than it looked in the photos." The view was spectacular, the layout of the home and the amenities were perfect, and the overall experience amazing. To top it off, the host, John, and concierge Fabian were super responsive and focused on making our stay amazing. It's a bit of a climb up the mountainside to get to the home, but it's absolutely worth it. I can only echo what the other reviews of said: this home in incredible, and I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

Hands down, this was the best AirBnB experience I have had to date. The property is exactly as advertised, the location is safe, secluded, and serene (especially during rainy season). Andi and his wife are incredibly helpful and gracious hosts. We communicated daily about best times for the cleaning/maintenance crew to perform their duties around my fluid and unpredictable schedule. They assisted with my transportation to and from the local airport, arranged my ATV rental for the week, arranged both an in-home massage therapist and an in-home chef, provided numerous specialized individual recommendations for restaurants, hikes, excursions, etc. I will absolutely be returning to The Green House in the future. This is an absolute gem!

We had such a lovely time staying at Casa De Celeste. The property was absolutely gorgeous and in close proximity to town and adventures. It was the perfect getaway before our wedding. The caretaker Vincente was so kind and very helpful. He truly made the place feel like home. We will return and are looking forward to that day. I highly recommend this property.

Eloide is such a wonderful host. She was there to greet us and made sure we had everything we needed. The unit was just perfect for us., very comfortable and a peaceful location. We loved the beautiful jungle surroundings and enjoyed a swim in the pool. This was a great find and we will be back again! Thank you for having us, Eloide.

Chris is the Man! For context, my girlfriend and I had another bnb in the area that lost power and water for 2 days! I had to book an emergency stay and Chris accommodated and responded swiftly even though it was very short notice. We fell more in love with his property than our original one lol. 10/10 stay loved the vibezz.

Sophie’s place is stunning! The moment you walk in, you feel peace and relaxation. The pools are great to cool off in and the beds are comfortable. We saw howler monkeys on the property, which was so neat! Sophie was responsive and gave great instructions and recommendations.

This Airbnb was absolutely gorgeous and did not do the posted pictures justice. Marlen was there when we arrived and was such a warm and friendly person. The stay had everything and more than we could’ve asked for - coffee, ice cream, coolers, towels, a washer, the list goes on. The jacuzzi was a nice touch especially at night when we needed to wind down. Albeit a bit buggy I would highly recommend bringing some bug spray (which is expected in tropical areas). Otherwise an amazing stay and we would definitely come back. Pura Vida!

Best hosts we have ever had. Very responsive to any issue that came up also had these wonderful decorations that my wife loved and we couldn’t find they went above and beyond and called around to find us the only place that carried them! It is secluded very well maintained and the view is spectacular! Located 30 minute drive from Manuel Antonio and Uvita only 15 minutes from Dominical. It is up in the mountains so rent a 4X4. Wild Rider rentals is cheaper and amazing way better than other rental companies in CR as a pro tip. Thank you so much we will definitely be back!

LUA Villa was beautiful and peaceful. We stayed in cielo and mar rooms as we extended our stay by two days. The host was very accommodating to make that happen. The villas are a short walk to the beach and cafes. The pool and gym/yoga space was a treat. Overall lovely experience.

Nice place, great communication, all perfect

Josephine communicated clearly and timely. The condo met my family's need. We needed a place to relax after some days of intense hikes in other regions. The pool was lovely and right outside our door. We watched surfers on the beach though the rough waters and rocky beach did not avail sun-soaking or swimming.

This was a perfect house for 3 families. There was a perfect private pool to relax mid day and a 1 minute walk to the beach to surf or play in the ocean. The host set everything up for us, transfers, surfing lessons, rental boards, ziplining, a chef, etc. there were lots of resteraunt options and a store, coffee shop, and fish shop directly across the street. the only negative of the house was leaving, we all want to go back!

We had the best time staying in Santa Teresa! The town was easily accessible from Mike’s place by ATV. Mike was very responsive, the home was very beautiful and in the jungle! We saw Monkeys outside of the bathroom windows multiple days!

Amazing house and location!

Marianne and Rob are amazing. The house is clean and very well kept. The furnishing and kitchen items are nice good quality. The view is super awesome. The pool was perfect and super clean. Best part for me was their dog Pixi who visited often and was so sweet and loving. Marianne communicated with us a lot and is very solicitous of her guests. Amazing people!
