We thought it was a very nice, quiet place. A very large property with lots of nature. Everything was clean and tidy. Everything you need. As seen in the photos. We're definitely going back. Thank you Adriana and family for your hospitality.

Quadruple room with a view and private access

I wasn't going to post a review because I had a very few nits with the place that might have led me to give it less than five stars. There were basically only two regarding the place itself. The first was the lack of a lamp on the dresser next to the bed, which left the room lit by only the fan light in the ceiling and I found that to be a sadly lost opportunity for a warmer ambience. The other was that the floor in the shower was slippery and I had to be careful about not falling. I really didn't want to mention these things (I'm reviewing only because he reviewed me and I want to see what he wrote), as I told them to Manuel and I'm sure he'll correct both of them. In fact he said he had two lamps I could use, but it was already too late in the evening to bother. And I'm sure he'll put a mat in the shower. Everything else was fine, except there was confusion finding the place as several other reviewers have mentioned. I'll send him a better map. In general very highly recommended!

Well, nice and cheap

I was originally upset with the poor communication and difficulty finding the place, only to arrive and nobody was home. Once I found my way Luis Roberto and his mother were fantastic. They helped me find a ride to my destinations and helped me with planning. The food provided was wonderful. I was taken care of once I found the place. I want to thank Luis Roberto and his mother for hosting me and making me feel at home.

beautiful setting. lots of nature around the place. the food at the restaurant within the hotel was really good and the people were really friendly. there are a few nature trails on site. lots of birds to see. The place was quiet and quite clean and the pool was beautiful. great restaurant/bar on site while we were there, we hired a local guide to take us through the Rincon National Park. it was really great and quite affordable as well We would highly recommend this guide. We can recommend, location was good to the national parks, staff very nice, beautiful pool area and also the small hiking trail to a small waterfall is beautiful.

Very nice, comfortable, excellent on my second visit

Rinconcito Lodge is a beautiful place to stay while exploring the nearby area! The staff were so friendly and helpful. David, the concierge, helped us create a fun-filled itinerary where we fit in many activities in the short amount of time we were there. The road to get there is a little rough, but we made it in a little 2x4 by going slow and keeping an eye out for potholes to dodge. We went during dry season, so a 4x4 may be necessary in wet season. The stay was worth the drive though!

The staff at the Rinconcito were incredible. Unfortunately travel delays kept us from our first night there, but when we arrived they gave us several experience options (night walk and horseback riding in the AM), and literally walked us to our room, which was exactly as pictured. Got some incredible pictures from the night walk and our dinner was absolutely delicious. Just wished we could have stayed longer!
