Peaceful stay right in the trees! This was such an epic Airbnb - so cozy and homey while also being very well equipped with everything you need. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and the spa was such a bonus. Stayed 3 nights here and wish I could have stayed longer - would definitely stay again if in the area. Mark was very kinda and quick to respond.

Beautiful location, excellent for relaxing and taking walks on the wild beach. Baths with a view were a luxury, the house was spotless with everything we needed. Great communication from Sarah. Highly recommend for a couples weekend getaway!

This home is beautiful, just as described. Just 2 of us but booked for 3 to have the entire home & that was the best decision made. Everything was clean & tidy, host supplied all the basic essentials. The home is in a great location and the spa pool was the best! Used it every morning and night. The home had a Bluetooth speaker we connected to while using the bbq area and spa. The neighbours were great, cause we didn’t know if anyone was there or not. So peaceful and so close to the beach. The host is a great communicator! Bonus you get to park your car on site and close the gate for privacy. We loved every bit of our time here. Thank you again for letting us stay 🥰

Perfect spot for a relaxing wekend with friends. We loved how close it was to the beach and the bikes made it so easy to get around Omaha. Kate was super helpful and accommodating.

We had a wonderful two nights at Lina's cottage. The cottage offers a lovely farm view and is very private and quiet. A highlight is the outdoor bathtub, and you can stay warm and comfortable with the floor heating.

What an exquisite and inspiring view of Bethells Beach! The view from the deck was amazing. The cottage was very quiet and peaceful. John was an excellent host. We enjoyed walking the beach and hiking to Lake Waimanu past the huge dunes.

We so enjoyed our stay here. Really convenient to Oneroa shops and walkway down to beach. Everything you could expect, and more in the house. The house was ready for us before check in time and Brad let us know that we could enter early.

Our stay at Cliff top cottage in New Zealand was absolutely fantastic! The location was stunning, with easy access to BlockHouse bay. The home was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable—everything we needed for a relaxing trip. Communication with Barbara was smooth and friendly. We would definitely book this place again if visiting that part of the country and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Auckland!

Fantastic views and space for the price! This is perfect for all types of occasions with a group of family or friends. The host was responsive and we were given clear instructions on everything regarding to the house, check in, directions, recycling, etc! Highly recommended!

We loved the little cottage! It had everything we needed. It had lovely personal touches. Grateful we could bring Roxy our little dog! Flowers were gorgeous when we walked in and Jasmijn was such a friendly gracious host (Thank you for the lovely gift basket of goodies too) I now love Kombucha! It was also nice to have an inside / outside fire to use! Thank you Jasmijn and Matt we will matt!

Jeremy & Andrea were helpful and friendly. We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for morning and evening walk One of the highlights was definitely the wood-fired pizza oven. It was such a fun we really enjoyed making pizzas and spending the evening outdoors

The hosts of Songbird Cottage have gone to a lot of trouble to make this place special. So many lovely features, both inside the cottage and around the grounds. One of the best instructions manuals we have encountered, including lots of great recommendations for local walks, attractions and eateries. Top marks.

We really enjoyed our stay. You could picture happy family holidays spent in the cottage in the past. While the cottage has some age on it, it had all the facilities we required, the beds were comfortable, everything was really clean and in working condition. Being able to take the short walk to the beach to watch the sun rise each morning was great. Waking to the sound of bird song in the morning was special, as was having two NZ wood pigeons join us as we sat on the deck enjoying a cup of coffee the first morning. With the cafes and the Cathedral Cove shuttle only a short walk away, we were able to park our car securely beside the cottage and leave it there. It suited our style of travelling.

Great location, very quiet, peaceful, had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio and watching the sun set and birds and even a couple bunnies. House was very quiet and a great size for our family of three.

Overall we had an awesome time staying at your cottage - our girls really enjoyed the pool and we appreciated the lovely community you live in - Managawhai is truly Magical in our books … Thank You!!

Just what we wanted. Close enough to everything village & beach has to offer (walking distance) but felt secluded and romantic.

We had the pleasure of staying at John and Cornine's place after an unexpected event at our previous accommodation. It was during the Easter public holiday, and we were traveling with our dog, so we honestly didn’t think we’d be able to find anywhere suitable last minute. To our surprise and gratitude, John and Cornine kindly made an exception to their no-pets policy and welcomed us in, allowing our holiday to continue stress-free. Their home is sunny, peaceful, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It’s also just a couple of minutes' drive to the beach. John and Cornine were exceptional hosts—warm, communicative, and incredibly responsive. When we experienced a sudden power blowout, they immediately came over with a torch and water box, which was such a relief. They also shared fantastic recommendations for local eateries and things to do, which really enhanced our stay. We’re so grateful for their kindness and hospitality.

We loved staying at Bridget’s cottage. It’s gorgeous. Loved the decor, the setting and the games and books. It was hard to believe we were in a city.

Simple, clean, great location. It was a great place for our family to walk to the beach, grab essentials from Woolworths, and enjoy coffee and takeaways from local restaurants. The hosts are very responsive to messages and proactively sent information. We really appreciated the simple, reasonable requests upon checkout that treated us like adults.

If you are looking for an elegant 100 year old beach cabin, this place is for you! The location right on the beach provides stunning sunsets & a very peaceful setting. If you are looking to do some of the nightlights of Coromandel (such as Hot water beach, cathedral cove hike, hike to new chums beach), you may want to consider staying on the east side of Coromandel. The roads to get to these places are over an hour of very windy roads! The outside washroom was ok during the day, but a bit of a pain at nighttime as the kitchen door was noisy to open and close. We loved the kayak and boogie board. It would’ve been nice to have a Nespresso machine or coffee maker instead of instant coffee or the press.
