Everything was perfect! Julia was very kind and helpful from the moment we booked her place. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and has the most amazing view of the historical peninsula of Istanbul. The location is great to see historical places on foot, but also for pubs, bars, cafes, restaurants.

Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

The location is excellent – everything is within walking distance, which made exploring the area very convenient. The host was very responsive and helpful, quickly answering any questions we had. There were some issues with the Wi-Fi – certain websites showed certificate errors, and VPNs wouldn’t connect properly. It’s unclear whether this was due to the local network setup or external connectivity issues. Mobile data worked fine. The small bathroom was a bit cramped, with some mold on the ceiling. The shower is a corner type, which caused water to spread over the toilet area, requiring cleanup after each use. Additionally, there was a noticeable sewage smell from that bathroom, so we kept the window open to air it out. That said, everything else was great. We really appreciated the welcome treats and the flexibility with storing our luggage after checkout. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor inconveniences.

Wonderful apartment - however a few minor points - the mezannine floor has very slippery wooden stairs with no handrail so not suitable for children or elderly I would say. The elevator is VERY small and very tight for two adults - not for the faint-hearted or anyone with fear of small spaces! Apartment had everything that was needed + its in the best location possible. Probably the best view in Istanbul! Staff and host all very responsive and kind

Ho alloggiato nel BeB per due mesi e devo dire di essere soddisfatta al 100%. La posizione è ottima, tutte le comodità sono vicino casa e raggiungibili a piedi, la fermata del bus è a 10 minuti a piedi come anche la fermata della metro. Devo fare i miei più grandi complimenti a Doruk, un host meraviglioso, sempre disponibile e con una reattività di risposta incredibile. Oltre ad essere un ottimo host, ho avuto l’occasione di poterlo conoscere meglio visto il mio lungo periodo in casa e posso dire anche una bravissima persona, molto educata e simpatica. Quando tornerò ad Istanbul sicuramente alloggerò di nuovo qui!

Great apartment in a convenient area - you can quickly walk to the embankment, as well as to Taksim Square. Close to transport stops from which you can go to any part of the city. This isn’t my first trip to Istanbul, but this is the most convenient and “local” location in which I lived. The walking street Istiklal is just a few minutes away, and right around the corner there is a street with bars and cafes that are open until late at night. Also, there are chain supermarkets a few minutes away. The accommodation is very nice and cozy, stylish interior. The host helped with all issues related to housing, within 15 minutes. I will definitely come again and will recommend to friends.

Das Apartment entspricht genau den Bildern – modern eingerichtet und mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf den Bosporus. Durch die großen Fensterfronten fühlt es sich an, als würde man im Wintergarten schlafen – wirklich besonders! Alles war wie beschrieben vorhanden, und Harun war super hilfsbereit, als ich den Schirm auf der Terrasse nicht selbst zusammenbekommen habe. Ich habe mich rundum wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Was man nicht unterschätzen sollte: Der Aufstieg über die vielen Treppen zur Unterkunft. Am besten bringt man einen Rucksack mit – oder ein bisschen Kondition. Nach ein paar Tagen gewöhnt man sich aber daran, und der Ausblick macht wirklich alles wieder wett! Insgesamt aber eine tolle Unterkunft mit großartigem Ausblick – ich komme gerne wieder!

Die Unterkunft war unglaublich toll. Wir sind als Familie mit den Grosseltern und den Kindern gereist und dafür war die Unterkunft ideal. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist fantastisch und direkt neben dem Galataturm. Es gibt viele Restaurants und Läden direkt um die Ecke. Dennoch war es in dem Apartment ruhig und man konnte sich gut erholen. Die Gastgeber haben immer sehr schnell reagiert und wir haben auch den Transfer von ihnen organisieren lassen. Alles klappte einwandfrei. Alles in allem wirklich eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wir bei Airbnb jemals gebucht haben.

Kaan and Dilan were very trustworthy people, I had stayed in one of their homes prior to this stay and they have always been readily available to answer our inquiries. The house matches the description and photos, everything in it (mainly cooking utilities and electronic devices) were perfectly functioning. The location of the Cihangir home was amazing. In short Kaan and Dilan were very accommodating hosts and can guarantee you a very satisfying stay. I highly recommend. Thank you:)

Ein Highlight ist die Dachterrasse auf der selben Ebene, von der man einen atemberaubenden Blick über den Bosporus hat. Elif hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Appartement au top ! Emplacement incroyable nous avons pu tout faire à pied ou prendre le bateau à moins de 10 minutes à pied ! Merci à Sena et à Fatih pour l’accueil, la disponibilité et la flexibilité! ☺️ L’appartement était très bien placé, proche d’une station de tram qui amène au plein centre d’Istanbul. La douche dans la salle de bain a eu un petit souci car je pense qu’elle est ancienne mais après avoir prévenu Fatih, ce dernier est venu réparer et tout s’est bien déroulé!

Tekrar o bölgede konaklanacak olursak tekrar hiç tereddüt etmeden Celal beyin evini tercih ederiz. Ev fotoğraflarda göründüğü gibi, Celal bey ise hem check-in hem check-out konusunda çok yardımcı oldu, her zaman çok ilgiliydi. Otoparkli olması ise en büyük avantajı idi. Benny ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und reagiert sehr schnell auf Nachrichten. Er hat uns persönlich empfangen und sehr gute Tipps gegeben. Das Apartment liegt perfekt für einen Besuch von Istanbul. Obwohl sehr nahe an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße ist es ruhig. Die Bushaltestelle ist sehr nahe, so dass wir überall sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln hinkommen konnten. Die Gegend ist noch eher einfach, das Apartment fällt hier sehr positiv auf. Das Apartment ist über eine etwas enge Treppe zu erreichen und liegt auf zwei Etagen. Unten sind zwei Schlafzimmer und eine Toilette, oben befindet sich ein schönes Wohnzimmer mit Balkon, eine gut ausgestattete Küche und ein Bad mit Dusche. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt und würden sehr gerne wieder kommen.
