Beautiful well-equiped gite close to amenities

Aou Roques gite is located on the edge of a small village surrounded by farmland and with distant views of the Pyrenees. The small town of Plaisance is just five minutes by car with an two supermarkets, weekly street market and a range of shops, entertainment and amenities. The wine growing regions of Madiran and Saint Mont are a short distance away and the Pyrenees can be reached in just over an hour. The area is great for cycling and walking and renowned for its many festivals in summer.

Excellent experience at Bénédicte's cottage: the place is much more spacious than in the photos, with very pleasant comfort (the pellet stove in the kitchen is a luxury! as well as the TV lounge) and a huge field in which the children of our family had a great time (a plus for the small basketball court under the courtyard in case of rain). Bénédicte was very hospitable. Definitely recommended.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! I can't recommend this place highly enough. The hosts were so amazing. They met us upon arrival, gave us fresh eggs from their chickens, helped us pick fresh fruit off the vine, and taught us how to play Pétanque. We spent around 10 weeks in France staying at a wide variety of Airbnbs and this was by far and away our favorite. We would potentially return to France just to visit Maguy's place. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful few nights in the cottage at Pomero. It was so peaceful and beautifully decorated inside. The garden and surrounds are lovely to wander around and so nice to be able to walk right out to the pool which overlooks vineyards. The shower is great and the bed is super comfortable. Serena and Adrian were very friendly and helpful with great info on things to do in the area. It was lovely being next door to the main chateaux, looking forward to coming back in the future!
