Great place We had 7 adults and there was plenty of room Great access to Muri and all the cafe, restaurants and night markets Easy stroll to the beach over the small bridge and the Avocado tree that dropped a few each night for us to collect in the morning was a great bonus Great kitchen facilities and the BBQ was great Will definitely look to stay there on our next visit

Greg's house is a great base to explore Rarotonga. It's comfortable, stylish and is right on the oceanfront. The location is not somewhere you can swim safely, although rockpools are interesting at low tide. The house has a lovely lap pool which is perfect for hot days and morning exercise. The roar of the waves is a constant backdrop, reminding you that you're in South Pacific paradise. The house is best suited to 2 couples with two large bedrooms, I feel, although our youngest son (18) was quite happy out in thel studio, but it is basic. We travelled with our two sons, and the flexibility that the house offered, rather than booking 2 rooms in a resort, was fantastic. Sitting on the deck at sunset, G & T in hand, was a daily highlight, such a privilege. The house is super quiet, in terms of any noise from neighbours, so very private and peaceful. The flat grassed garden to the side was great for our soccer-mad boys to kick a ball around for exercise. You absolutely need a car.

We love staying at Lisa’s Echo Lodge. The place was removed from any congestion and had such a stunning view and feel of the Cook Islands . It was close to everything and was remote at the same time, the beach was quite accessible. It probably would be best to get a car if you were staying there, but not necessary. The lodge itself was paradise, it so well appointed with everything you need. The details and the thoughtful planning was evident. We loved the house. We thoroughly enjoyed Lisa who is responsive and friendly. We spoke with her every morning as she was doing her daily chores and in the evening as well, but certainly there is plenty of private time for you, as she is not intrusive at all, quite friendly , we highly recommend this day for us as it gave you a whole different environment on the island and still the beaches were absolutely accessible. But the beauty of staying on these grounds, seem like a tropical paradise, beyond the pale.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful villa! The snorkeling right out the front was incredible, and the location couldn’t be better – just a short drive to Muri but tucked away in a peaceful spot. The villa was very well presented and thoughtfully set out, with a stunning deck view where we could relax and take in the ocean. We loved having access to the kayaks, and the kids especially enjoyed the outdoor shower after a day in the water. It was warm, but the air conditioning in the bedroom and the coastal breeze at night made it manageable. After spending over a week exploring the island and chatting with locals, we couldn’t agree more – this is the best spot on the island. The neighboring villa is so private we hardly noticed it. Highly recommend this beautiful getaway for a peaceful and relaxing Cook Islands experience!

You cannot beat the location of this place! It's right on the water, super close to Muri and amenities. Gwen and Jojo make you feel welcomed. We had an amazing stay.

Ian's place is a fantastic location - right on the beach. A fantastic deck overlooking the sea was the highlight for us - lots of BBQs sitting at the great big table watching the sunsets. The house itself was very clean (a bit tired but very functional) and was more than what we needed for a beach Bach stay. The snorkling out the front of the property was great and a short walk up the beach to the lagoonarium provided some incredible snorkling (we even saw a turtle). Ian happily made arrangements for us to check in at 2am and was easy to get hold of when we had questions. Would happily stay here again!!!

The property was perfect for the two of us and was exactly as described and only had to walk out the back door to be on the Lagoon The fruit basket coffee tea even milk in the fridge was appreciated Also a big thankyou to Sala who called in regularly to see if we needed anything We couldnt have been any happier and didnt want to leave after our 4 week stay Once again Thankyou. We could not have been happier with our choice of sunset quay. The house was spotlessly clean, the pool and outdoor area were stunning. My two young boys loved having a pool and the beach at their doorstep. We did not want to leave. It is in a perfect location next door to Beluga cafe, the falafel shake and other great restaurants and only a short drive to town and the airport. We loved having summer the dog visit every day, as we were missing our dog back home terribly. We will be highly recommending this property to any family and friends visiting Rarotonga. The Navigator Beachfront Studio in Muri Beach, Rarotonga, was a hidden gem for us looking for a peaceful beachfront retreat. It was modern and clean design, with a fully equipped kitchen, private pool, and kayaks for exploring the lagoon. The location is ideal, within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shop and night market. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable king-size bed, the cool ocean breeze, and felt very safe and secure. The internet and air con worked very well. Joyita warmly welcomed us for our early check in and gave us lots tips to make our stay so enjoyable. It’s such a peaceful location and certainly the best accommodation to stay in Rarotonga. Thanks again and we will certainly to be returning to this stunningly beautiful part of the world. Donna and Cliff

Absolutely lovely. The two totally private, walled in garden areas were a highlight. The room was well equipped and very comfortable. Rick, the owner, was delightful. Definitely hope to come back soon.

This place was the best we've stayed in on Raro for it's view of the sea, it's swimming pool and it's layout, two large bedrooms with ensuites and a third room with another bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would book again. The house was immaculately clean and the verandah views were the best for sunsets. The lagoon is swimmable at high tide and ok for snorkeling, and not far from Aro'a where there is good snorkeling. Eddie was flexi with our checkout which we appreciated given the late night flight out. Thanks so much for the accommodation. We hope to be back again.

Our family of 5 had an excellent stay at your beautiful air b n b. The property had everything you needed and felt like a home away from home. We have travelled to Rarotonga 5 times before and we would not hesitate to refer people to stay here on the south side. We will be back. Meitaki Maata.

Perfect house for family holiday. Spacious and equipped with everything you need to cook your own food but also walking distance to great resorts. Amazing snorkeling right out front but we also made use of the pool more than we thought we would. A luxury to have a bathroom for each room! Aircon was a must and each room had its own unit. We had a fabulous time and look forward to staying again in the future. Thanks, Mark!

We had a wonderful stay at Coco Beach House with our friends. 7 of us stayed (4 adults and 3 kids) for 8 nights. The salt water pool was a hit with the kids and adults alike, and we loved lounging on the large wooden deck with hammocks looking out to ocean views. The 3 bedrooms downstairs (with the single bed added to the largest bedroom) suited us well. We didn’t end up using the upstairs mezzanine bed as it doesn’t have AC so it was too warm for our kids. The kitchen is very well-equipped and we enjoyed barbecuing on the deck. The Tamarind Restaurant two doors down is a sublime spot to have a drink or dinner and watch the sunset. Thank you Minar for sharing your beautiful home with us and for being a terrific host!

Sherri and Ben were wonderful hosts! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in their airbnb. We stayed for 3 months and truly enjoyed our whole time! Very kind, considerate, fun, and willing to help us with anything! Great time! Highly recommend their home! Can’t wait to come back!

This was our third time staying at Paul’s place. The house is fantastic. It was great to have a full kitchen as we like to prepare our own meals some of the time. We had a car so found it easy to get around the island. Very close to the airport which was handy. It’s not the best area for swimming or snorkelling, but the lagoon outlook is beautiful. We enjoyed afternoon strolls along the beach and ‘happy hour’ on the deck admiring the stunning sunsets. Paul was very easy to communicate with and very generously allowed us to check in a bit earlier which was very helpful. There’s a bakery and service station in walking distance which made grabbing a few essentials very easy, however we did a bigger shop at the local supermarket a 5 min drive away. We prefer to snorkel near The Rarotongan and opposite Chantal’s Concierge which was an easy drive towards the other end of the island. Overall a very comfortable stay at a reasonable price. You can’t go wrong at Paul’s.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Such a beautiful spot with amazing beach access which was perfect for snorkeling. Paul was an awesome host and makes the best hot sauce. Would definitely stay here again!

One of the best airbnb stays I've ever had. Tere and family made me feel welcome immediately, and are absolutely fantastic hosts. They gave me great recommendations on where to find good food, the convenience store that's open late, and best things to see and do. The penthouse is cozy and clean, the bed comfortable, and the views are stunning. Enjoy the sunsets from the balcony or the beach, which is a literal stone's throw away. Don't overthink this one. I'd happily stay in the penthouse again, or one of their villas. Meitaki ma'ata, thank you all for an amazing holiday!

A great place to stay. Close to town, walkable, shops and cafes within easy reach. Looking out directly to the lagoon every morning watching the whales every day was a real treat. Ian’s help with local resources and the time he spent explaining and showing us about coconuts etc and the conservation efforts being made around the island gave valuable insight into what is happening in Rarotonga. The bungalow was simple and clean, perfect for what we needed. Would stay again.

We have been to Raro before we will stay here from now. Prefer over resorts. This place absolutely beautiful and exceeded the pictures. Private beach front right at your doorstep, large spacious villa with kitchenette and ensuite. We could picture ourselves living here. Location is so appealing not from airport, town centre, resorts, takeaway spots and bars across the road from gas station & small supermarket. Best spot to watch the sunset. Only 3 villas no crowds very intimate and quiet. The host Jo made this stay extra special she treated you like family helpful in anyway, she had heaps of recommendations and gave you your privacy. Thank you Jo! Recommended to all our family and friends. This will be my go to when returning to Raro. Must stay you will be amazed!

This beautiful home has world class views and snorkeling right at your doorstep! Kayaks avaiaible, and all snorkeling gear too, any traveler would be lucky to call this place home for a few days. Joseph was extremely generous with check in/check out, and we are super grateful. It’s always hard travelling with kids, so the extended hours were most appreciated. The photos don’t do it justice…

A wonderful place to stay for a couple. Right on the lagoon for a morning dip or sunset photography and everything you need is either right in the property or a short walk/bike ride away. We stayed for 10 days and loved every moment from the chirping geckos to the shuffling hermit crabs. We fired up the BBQ and walked along the beach to Charlies; made friends with the neighbour's dog (we called her Layla); snorkelled with turtles; took the bus to black rock (buy a 10 trip pass!); cycled to Muri for a romantic evening meal; Our host was responsive and helpful and we couldn't have asked for more.
