Staying here truly felt like a home away from home. The house is full of character and clearly built with a lot of love and care. The hospitality was warm and thoughtful—I really appreciated how understanding and welcoming the hosts were throughout. They went out of their way to make my birthday feel special, even letting my friends join in to celebrate with me, which meant a lot. The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating, and their adorable pets added an extra layer of warmth to the whole experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy, heartfelt stay.

Thank you Rakesh for being a good host. I really enjoyed my stay. Its a must visit place if u want peaceful time. The host rakesh is also super responsive and really helpful. The food he served was super delicious and priced very reasonable to a extent that it felt he should raise the price.

Stay was comfortable. Host was very responsive 1. arranged water can on request 2. cleaned house when we extended our stay 3. prepared house as given in listing the place 1. peaceful green surroundings 2. we had a car so was easy to get around accessibility there are uneven surfaces and steps in entry so young kids and those with accessibility requirements should consider this when booking.

Cozy and clean place close to the coast...with nice neighborhood cafes

We had a great time and the place was perfect for our family with two big dogs. We experienced the wilderness, and had the comfort at the same time. The host and care taker were great and helpful. Francis helped us with food (boiled chicken) for the dogs every evening and that was a huge plus for us. The pool and jacuzzi made the stay entirely worthwhile. Finally the house has a great layout and they have done well with the details. We will look forward to being back at this place.

okay!!! this place has a piece of our heart... an impromptu decision of going to Alibaug in between of a planned roadtrip led us to this beautiful place and it was so worthit.. from the moment we entered, it felt home and the credit goes to the caretakers... brilliant food, amazing chai, that smile, everything... all this resonated so well with how the place has been setup.. every corner has a certain attitude, which your cameras won't miss 🙂 there's a place for lazing around, intimate dinners, working from far, breakfast... and that gorgeous bathroom... highly recommend and try to stay for long term so that every corner of the house can be well experienced... 🏠

We had a amazing weekend at silver lining, away from crowd. They courtyard was beautiful and we enjoyed the yummy snacks made by the cook ( Kanhaiyaji). His food is awesome especially Bombay duck fry, chicken Tandooriand biryani. The container home is neat and clean, only daytime in summer was hot so AC is required the whole time. Had no issue with the AC even during powerfailure as it runs on solar. Overall enjoyed our stay.

The maid cooks really home like food, there was a helper as well as caretaker. We took our Driver with ourselves and he too got his own room at a budget cost. We are very happy. Overall you would definitely come again guided and took care of my elderly parents. very well, I would recommend it for senior citizens. There was a power cut. However, it came back quickly

We have had an amazing stay. The property is very well maintained, bathroom was clean, kitchen area was clean, basic masala was provided. One thing to keep in mind if you are planning to cook which we had planned there is power cut (2-3 times when we were there for atleast 30-40 minutes), so geyser, induction, fridge, basically whatever requires high power won't work (TV, fan, lights were working). There us also a play area like small garden. Whatever amenities is mentioned in the description of the property was working. Wanted to appreciate the host, from booking till we checked out of the property he was responsive and helpful. There was some issue with the jacuzzi though it was little annoying in the beginning but once we informed him, he made sure/ atleast tried to resolve the issue. He even asked us we may chose to check out late due to the inconvenience caused. Thanks Abhishek!

Karthikeyan was right there when we arrived at his property. Although we had booked one room , but he was generous enough to allow us to choose any room in the property. If you love outdoors and natural water body, this is the place to visit. Me and my son went for swim in the lake which is adjacent to the property. Beware of the rocks and stones. This is not a sea beach. So please be careful. The food was homely and great. The cook has now become a celebrity. We spent a great evening chatting with karthik. Overall a great place to unwind and relax.

Nice place to stay. Host has people on property who are very helpful and very fast if you need anything. Their are some House rules which have been posted in house manual so you get to see them only after your reservation is confirmed but not a big deal just few bucks. Overall nice place to stay might visit again.

The property is as shown in the pictures. It’s well appointed and has all the required amenities. The garden, though compact, is curated and has decorative flowers blooming. Accessibility is good and Imran our caretaker arranged local auto at reasonable rates for local market visit. There are no Restaurents in walkable distances, but couple of them deliver. Since we cooked our meals, can’t comment on the quality of these restaurents. All in all, a comfortable stay totally worth the price.

A beautiful space in an exceptional location. Jharna and Rohan live the sustainable lifestyle and the place reflects the same. They and the team was very warm and helpful and did everything possible to make the stay comfortable. Instructions were / communication was clear and non intrusive giving us a lot of space for chats and catching up. The beautiful coconut grove, sound of the waves, the distant horizon - it's a five star place, just an hour away from Mumbai. Food was fresh, flavourful, well-made and served with love, but being within the sustainable farm-to-table practice makes the menu limited. The surrounds / village has a peace and calm - no activities as such - the property is so good that one may not feel like stepping out. Overall, had a great time with friends. A highly recommended offline recharge.

We had a great stay at this lovely home in Khopoli. It was clean, well-equipped, tastefully decorated, and the host Amit was very responsive making it a seamless experience. The quiet surroundings made it perfect for a weekend getaway! It was our first outing with our cat and he settled in surprisingly fast, thanks to the calm and peaceful vibe of the place. If you are an outdoor person, the best time to visit would be post-monsoon when nearby spots like waterfalls are more active. If not, they have plenty of board games, badminton and Netflix to chill. Either way, Scotty’s is highly recommended, especially for those travelling with pets!

Place is admittedly remote but host's inputs and instructions were very helpful. Best to have a personal vehicle while traveling or leave for town in the morning and return in the evening - that way local cabs are available. Host had references for food service providers and kept a reasonably stocked kitchen with tea, sugar and milk. Cooking stove and Ro water were functional. Loo and shower were functional. Remoteness is the charm and host's helpfulness makes things happen.

The space is cosy and thoughtfully set up, with a sweet little kitchen, all the essentials, and a lovely outdoor area with We played badminton, enjoyed quiet indoor games, and simply relaxed — it was everything we hoped for and more. The hosts were kind, responsive, and always just a text or call away, which made us feel truly cared for. Yes, it’s the wilderness, so a few bugs are expected — but honestly, the beauty of the place far outweighs that. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already dreaming of coming back for a longer stay. A perfect escape that fills your Heart 💓

The best host and family i have ever met. The place is outstanding the perfect blend of farm, beach and old portugal. the host outstanding not to mention the numerous animals from birds to horses . Dr pinto and his family went way beyond any expectation a must goan experience. for anyone. Great place for kids to learn about animals and farms and also for people to get away from a busy life. the best part beach is 5 minutes away and market and eating joints are nearby yet you feel cocooned in greenery and quiet

The place is really nice and cozy. It is really serene and beautiful. Great place for a couple. Jacuzzi pool is a bonus. Kitchen has all the basic amenities. Place is near Ganpatipule, 35-40 mins drive. Devghali beach (1 hour 45 mins) is a must visit place. Food is decent, limited options but taste is good. Nearest nearby Restaurants are at 10kms range. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Moses was a great host. He is always available for any recommendation, issue( if any) or any sort of guidance. The place is very homely located in a peaceful surrounding with all the necessary appliances. It's near the fort so all key sightseeing spots are also in close proximity. They have a gated surrounding which even my pet pug enjoyed alot. Overall it was a nice experience and will consider visiting again.
