Comfortable apartment in the centre of Broughty Ferry with parking. This is the second time we’ve stayed and we would definitely stay again as it’s well equipped and in a good location

This was our second stay at the Lodge and everything was as good the second time around. A lovely setting, with views across to the sea, loads of space inside the property (which is very comfortable and well-presented) and great facilities too. It offers peace and quiet but is also just a short walk or drive from Carnoustie with its beach, shops, restaurants and (if you are travelling with kids) a great adventure playground. Brian and Matt were great hosts (again). We hope to be back again before long!

Lovely stay, keen to return. Brian & Matt were very welcoming to us all (including dog), and the property exceeded our expectations. Lovely grounds, very comfortable accommodation, and a bonus with the hot tubs and being so dog friendly.

What a fab place. Very easy to walk into Carnoustie, either along the beach or via the flat path into town. The house was very clean and tidy. It was wonderful to wake up each morning and watch the sea from the large windows. Highly recommend.

Ideally placed next to beach on quiet street the cottage was ideal. Beds were comfy and cottage very clean.

My husband and I were greeted by Maura, who was very friendly and helped us settle in. We felt at home almost immediately; the sofa is really comfortable. Everything you need has been considered and everything was well appointed. Good quality soft furnishings and relaxing decor. We really enjoyed it. Broughty Ferry is a beautiful place and being so close to everything just felt easy… we had ice cream on the way home from our evening walk and steppedback in minutes, fantastic! There are quite a few steps to get to the apartment, but it’s quirky and we liked that it still felt tucked away and secluded. Parking was fine, no charge at the top of the hill, which is a two minute walk or I imagine you could pay and park opposite. For off loading there’s plenty of space on the road which isn’t busy. We had a lovely relaxing 3 night stay. It felt very homely in a quiet cul-de-sac. Close to all amenities and the beach and costal walk. Bed was extremely comfy and lovely soft towels. Sarah was a great host, very helpful and responsive to messages.

The cottage was so homely and had everything we needed. The view of the castle and the sea was stunning. The host, Steve popped over to say hello and check if we were happy with everything which was a lovely touch. The kids loved being so close to Broughty Ferry beach and Park which is just a five minute walk from the cottage. Having a pub with great food next door was handy too but the cottage had everything you needed to have a cosy night in and cook. We can't wait to go again next year.

Had a fantastic stay at 69 Gray Street, the apartment was beautiful and so clean. We even arrived to a lovely happy birthday note and chocolates for my brother who was celebrating his birthday. Definitely recommend

Ferry Beach House is fabulous. Quirky, well decorated and immaculate. The rooms were great and the views are amazing. Lots of great local independent eateries, yummy ice cream shop. Great costal walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Fantastic accommodation right on the beach. Great for a morning stroll having had your coffee whilst looking out across the water. Great wee town too. lots to see and do with plenty of places for food and drink. I'd come back. Easy!

Lovely place to visit, after losing my mother recently I needed a place to “escape”. Comforting feeling waking up to beautiful sun rises and watching the water. It made me feel at peace for a few days. Will definitely be back!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful, cosy house. Barometer Cottage is so well appointed and decorated. It's easy to feel at home. It's right next to all the local amenities and the great esplanade walk. We had clear check-in instructions from Euan. A really enjoyable stay.

We are four friends looking to have a couple of chilled nights away to have a few drinks and laughs. The apartment was perfect for us - really clean, very nicely decorated and furnished. Really comfy beds and pillows, toiletries in the bathroom, teabags, coffee, coffee pods etc in the kitchen. We had a slight issue with the shower when we were there but we contacted the host who was immediately responsive and got the problem sorted very quickly. We had a lovely time - thank you Casa Freda 🥰

Booked this accommodation for our employees who were working in the area, the accommodation was perfect to come back to after a long hard day, would definitely recommend to anyone .
