Pure idyll and a view you can't get enough of - whether sun, clouds or rain. Maria's little house with the blue door in Casal de Loivos makes you wish you could end the evening on such a balcony 365 days a year. There is an additional practical sink in the sun-drenched bedroom on the top floor, so you can even brush your teeth with a view of the Douro. Several times a week, various merchants keep their food in front of the house, so you can equip yourself with regional products. Also highly recommended is the olive oil and wine museum right outside the door. Great tastings and employees as well. Thanks Maria, for the helpful tips and your wonderful place to stay!

Daniela was from the beginning very responsive and attentive. Helped us with check in through video call as we arrived later than expected. The room and surrounding space is exactly like the photos, truly cozy and beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor space a lot. At night you could see the stars. Carrazeda town and Tua are about 20mins drive where you have restaurants and supermarket. I would say that you need a car to stay here. We really enjoyed our stay. Daniela’s friendliness and sweetness is a huge plus! Thank you!

Adriana sent us suggestions, directions and pictures of the location prior to our arrival making it easy to find. She also let us drop of luggage pre check in which was a great help.

Such a wonderful place and wonderful hosts! It’s remote, too far normally to walk to town, but our hosts did a great job of supplying us with breakfast food and wine, so we were never without the important things. It may have all been written before, but this place is amazing! In an old stone building with a gorgeous terrace and garden. Great view over the valley plus a pool and slick shared inside space. Cute village to hang in. Loved it

we were really impressed with how friendly and welcoming they were and very accommodating, serving an incredibly delicious homemade dinner to our apartment, as we preferred not to leave to eat downstairs while our children were in bed. south facing views from our balcony were so beautiful and peaceful. lovely clean and fresh bedrooms and bathrooms. would definitely recommend.

Beautiful home with all the amenities exactly as described. Perfect location within walking distance of Pinhao village and a number of wineries. The host, Francisco met us on arrival to show us through the house. His communication is unsurpassed providing recommendations for restaurants, wineries and boat trips on the river. Very responsive to any questions. Could not recommend highly enough. A totally wonderful experience.

Fantastic stay in our Douro Valley leg of the Portugal trip I planned for my family. Staying on the farm was like staying at Grandma's house (in the best way). There was so much charm to the house and the property was more beautiful than the pictures. Would highly recommend this property for a stay!!
