Cottage vacation rentals in Algonquin

We spent 4 nights to do some ice fishing. We had 9 people in total and had more than enough room. Everything was spotless and as described in the listing. As a bonus, we had a very successful fishing trip! The property looks like it would be fabulous in the summer as well.

Pravena was an outstanding host!! She was responsive and made our group feel so comfortable. The Peninsula Cottage was such a great getaway for our group of friends and we loved every minute of our time there. Highly reccomend!

It was a really good experience. the kitchen has everything you need, even more !!! the place is very quiet and peaceful. i greatly recommend if you want a nice and beautiful weekend. Moreover, everything is comfortable.

Nous avons eu un agréable séjour au chalet. Nous étions un groupe de 9 personnes. Tout était parfait. La déco, l'environnement extérieur, le confort du chalet, la propreté. La cuisine est tres bien équipée. Tout est fourni tel qu'indiqué dans la description. Cuisine et salon très spacieux. Les chambres très confortables. Il n'y a pas d'eau potable, mais l'hôte nous avait avisé et nous avions apporté nos bouteilles d'eau. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésitation. Merci à l'équipe pour ce beau séjour.

We visited for only a night during the off season, but this place provided a peaceful, quiet getaway at a beautiful location. The lake is easily accessible and the views from the cottage are lovely. We especially appreciated all the things to do at the cottage from billiards to table tennis, board games, and even an axe-throwing game that made a visit during cold, damp weather still feel like a fun getaway. The hot tub appeared nearly new and was very clean.

This was the most memorable stay. The hot tub and sauna were a great plus! It is impeccably clean and super cozy. I love the privacy and the layout is fantastic. There is a squirrel that hangs around and peanuts are provided to feed him by hand! So cute. This is an amazing couples getaway. I would HIGHLY recommend!

The cottage was nice and spacious with a great rooms to washroom ratio, which made it really comfortable for our group. Jube was a great communicator and very responsive throughout our stay. We did experience a couple of small issues, but Jube addressed them quickly and professionally. Just a heads up if the weather is bad it’s best to have an AWD vehicle for the road leading up to the cottage. Overall, it was a great stay and we’d definitely recommend it!

Kofi and Nichole were incredible! With quick communication, an extremely clean home and very comfortable beds. Everything was meant to cater to the guests. The sauna was all set up and ready to go, there was clear signage and lots of local recommendations for activities and restaurants. I highly recommend!!

We had such a wonderful stay! The space was warm, inviting, and all it was advertised to be. It was exactly what we needed—a comfortable and peaceful spot to relax. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to check in a bit early. The personal touches really made the place feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming, relaxing stay with the most beautiful wood burning fireplace.

Thank you so much for the perfect getaway stay! Everything was as described and more. Perfect sleeps were had, kitchen was well equipped for all the late night creations, comfy reading spots throughout the home. Comfort levels were absolutely met! We enjoyed it immensely and can't wait to stay again soon.

The cabin was a great place to stay. It was cozy, clean and in a great spot. There are so many places to see that two days simply wasn't enough!

Très belle petite maison avec une vue magnifique sur le lac. La cuisine a tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner. Nous en avons profité pour faire de la randonnée dans le parc Frontenac; les 40 minutes de voiture en valent vraiment la peine.

The place is truly amazing and so peaceful! The checkin was super easy and Amanda was very proactive in communicating. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be recommending the place to our friends! We hope to be back in the future! Thanks so much for a great couple days!

South Bay Cottage is truly a perfect and lovely lake getaway. Drive off the main road and into your own private cove outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once inside, the view of Lake Stoney can be seen through the large windows from anywhere in the main room. The sunsets and starry skies were so peaceful - and even though locals told us it was unusual - we actual had an amazing view of the Northern Lights! We loved that this cottage included all the linens we needed and lots of areas to get cozy and read a book - including the extra-special gazebo. While the kitchen area is small - it is well equipped with everything we needed. Close to great hikes (Petroglyph Provincial Park, High Falls at Eels Creek, Warsaw Caves, and many others.) Also great to explore the area's great golf courses, Wanderlight Alpaca walks (a must do), Peterborough Pete's hockey, Peterborough theatre, and amazing restaurants in Lakefield (Loon, Cassia, and more). Melissa was a wonderful host!

There were a total of 5 families (9 adults and 2 kids ages 2.5 years and 1 year). We enjoyed the side by side cottages and that allowed for some separation of families with and without kids. Cottages were quite clean and modern with good amenities. It was a very quiet neighborhood. There were watercrafts available for an additional (very reasonable) fee and we really enjoyed being on the water. We had easy access to the water. There were fire pits and hot tub, which we did not use. You’ll have to take the garbage out to the dump on your way out and there are pre-paid garbage tags. The process was easy and straightforward. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Was very comfortable to stay at Thomas's cottage. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids in the winter. The sauna was especially nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything worked well and communication was great.

Tammy was the sweetest, most helpful hist to my parents. I booked this place for their 1 year anniversary weekend and they were in love. She left them a cute note and got them a bottle of wine to celebrate. They loved the space so much and felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Tammy thank you SO much for your hospitality and taking such good care of my parents. They will absolutely be back!!

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property, has everything you need. We stayed the week of valentines and couldn’t have asked for more. I could only imagine how perfect it would be in the summer with the water sports and many other amenities this property offers. Erika and Adam were kind and responsive and helped us with all our needs!! Definitely would go again.

Chantyle's cottage was a great find for our family. While it was basic and nothing fancy but that is just what our family loves. We basically only need a spot to sleep and cook, other then that we are outside enjoying the nature we are surrounded by, and this spot was perfect The beach was perfect for swimming, crystal clear, and shallow so the kids could walk out for quite some distance. On top of the beautiful area and comfortable rustic cabin we were greeted by a very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful campground manager Phil and his wife Tanya. Helped us with things we needed right away and gave us suggestions on places to check out that our kids ended up loving....overall amazing experience thanks for having our family stay it was a great location and great place. friendly seasonal campers as well. our family will definitely be back ?

We only stayed for one night to break our journey up as we were heading to Niagara Falls , absolutely gorgeous location a step away from the lake with breathtaking scenery , perfect to sit out on the patio enjoying the scenery and having a drink and chill , beds were very comfortable we both slept well , welcome basket was a nice touch , we used the kitchen and made our own dinner and table was gorgeous to sit at , would recommend to anyone who enjoys relaxing and great views

A dream rustic cottage space! This location is wonderful, thoughtfully set up and run. With many sweet and homey details throughout the space and hosts (Darrnel and Mike), are genuinely welcoming and thoughtful. This gem is very family friendly with an all around feel good atmosphere. Our large family enjoyed the humble lakeside access and nearby waterfall.
