What a find! The moment we finalized the transaction I sensed this place was going to be a keeper. Seemed less than five minutes off the freeway, nestled in a lovely grove of old oak trees which offer you a humbling perspective as their size is remarkable. The parking is slick, trash and recycling clearly accessible, and if you are lucky it will rain and you can smell the wonderfully clean, fresh air of Autumn.
Micheal and Mary are very impressive and professional hosts, whose kindness and love for humanity is among the finest.
Entering the guest quarters, the space was impressively decorated and nicely lit. It is attached to the main house as a separate unit. The bathroom and shower were really a nice surprise - well done and impeccably clean.
Knowing that i was arriving with my teenage daughter, they had already made up the second futon bed in the other room so nicely with a memory-foam mattress pad. So cozy for her. The unit sports a microwave, coffee, mini fridge and very fast internet!
Michael recommended the Thai place just a few minutes easy drive and I'm not kidding you when I say that it went down as some of the most fantastically memorable Tom Kai Soup I have EVER had! Huge stars for the low down on the local joint. Fed all three of us for roughly $20 and we brought food home... entrees around 7-9 bucks and good quality. Back to Micheal and Mary :)
The spirit of the house is so clearly sourced from Love and all who enter should hope to enjoy the presence of Michael and Mary and their wonderful children.
I know I will have to plan ahead to get an open slot as their popularity grows. SAVE ME A SEAT!! Looking forward to seeing you all again in Mid - December
