Linda's place felt like home. Everything is top notch and cozy. The inside of the house blends well with the surroundings and we felt right at home when we came in. Linda's instructions are easy to follow and it is easy to check-in and check-out. Kitchen is fully-equipped. Bedrooms are comfortable and big. We had everything we need for a wonderful weekend stay with friends. The wood heater also adds up to the vibe. Thank you Linda for allowing us and my dog to stay in your beautiful home.

4.99 out of 5 average rating, 176 reviewsMaggies Lane Barn House
The birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees (and the kangaroos) surround this well designed, tastefully furnished hideaway. The barnhouse oozes style, privacy, comfort, peace, generosity and thoughtfulness. And a bonus was being able to take our dog Tilly who just loved the open spaces. Jamie was a great host, meeting us on arrival and providing good suggestions on what to do in the area. But we also loved staying ‘home’, surrounded by nature and enjoying the views from the window seat (any window really), or from the deck. The hosts have also provided a well equipped kitchen, including cookware, utensils, condiments and some ‘extra goodies’ from their son. And on this wet morning when packing up, really appreciated the garage attached to the barnhouse. We highly recommend this tranquil getaway. Thank you Jamie and Christine.

Rental unit in Merrijig

Great place, very close to the base of Mount Buller. The layout is quite flexible for 1 or 2 families, with 2 bedrooms in the main part of the house and a separate hotel style room right next door. The house is nice and clean, and they don't mind if you bring a pet. If you're there in the warmer months, they have a pool and tennis court too. Will definitely return if we head back to Buller.

Robert and Kylie were wonderful hosts for our short stay. Their bunkhouse was clean and comfortable, super private and quiet in a beautiful location. My husband and I are already talking about our next visit when we have a holiday 😂 Easy check in and supplied fresh bread, milk and eggs too which was a lovely bonus. This stay is perfect for a little weekend away from the city. 10/10!! Thank you Robert and Kylie ☺️

This was our best Airbnb experience yet! Jenni and Peter's property was absolutely perfect - it looks exactly like the pictures, it was super clean, it's spacious yet cozy, and it's walkable to the Oven's river, and the incredible Rail Trail Cafe. Jenni and Peter were so attentive for the duration of our stay, making sure we had everything we needed, and offered recommendations to attractions/restaurants. We have an anxious rescue pup named Chance, and they very generously offered to watch him whilst we visited Mount Buffalo. They sat with him the entire time to make sure he was comfortable, and eased his anxiety. Chance is normally nervous around new people/environments, but we could tell he trusted Jenni and Peter by the way he warmed up to them so quickly. You can tell a lot by the way your dog responds to people, and the fact that Chance did not want to leave attested to the fact that we had found a gem in Jenni and Peter. We will certainly be back, thankyou for a wonderful stay :)
Home in Healesville
4.95 out of 5 average rating, 342 reviewsLovely Yarra Valley farmhouse with beautiful views
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property, the surroundings are incredibly peaceful - the landscape was beautiful, with lemons and oranges growing, horses just outside your window, and ample bird-watching opportunities. We were welcomed by the friendly family dogs, Luca and Lily. The home was fully equipped and spacious, comfortably accommodating our group. However, I do want to mention a few things for potential visitors. The road leading up to the house can be quite dark at night, so it’s important to drive carefully. Additionally, it takes about 10-15 minutes to reach the nearest amenities, which might be a consideration for some. Being a farmhouse, you should also be prepared for insects; we had a rather large spider pay us a visit, which was quite the surprise for us city girls! While the home is clean and well-equipped, it gives a more rustic feel. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

4.92 out of 5 average rating, 50 reviewsOliver's Cottage Yarra Valley | Spa and Sauna
Our stay at Oliver’s Cottage was truly exceptional, offering a blend of charm, comfort, and unforgettable experiences. From the moment we walked through the door, the space felt warm and inviting, with thoughtful details that instantly made us feel at home. There are countless cozy spots to unwind, whether you want to relax with a glass of wine or simply soak in the tranquil surroundings. Our hosts were incredible, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience from start to finish. The Gozney pizza oven was a standout feature— we spent a delightful evening on the deck, crafting wood-fired pizzas paired with refreshing Aperol spritz’, all while admiring the breathtaking views. The check-in process was smooth, and our hosts provided everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Oliver’s Cottage is more than just a stay, it’s a place to create cherished memories. Highly recommend it to anyone seeking a special retreat!

We were a group of 9 and had a great time. The kids enjoyed the kids room with the bunk bed, funky lights and toys. The adults enjoyed the various places to relax, whether as a group or in solitude. The kitchen was clean and had all the necessary utensils. The location is just outside the main town area and very close to Redwood forest and the Rainforest gallery. We would come back.
Guesthouse in Healesville

If I could rate this TEN stars, it still wouldn’t capture what a great experience we had. Truly dog friendly (couch covers, towels for wet paws, bed cover, fully enclosed zoomy-worthy spaces). The friendliest hosts we’ve ever come across. And the shed itself was full of thoughtful touches and quirkiness.

This stay at Alex’s studio room was truly exceptional! The place was immaculate and exactly as described in the listing, cozy, compact and private. The host, Alex, has thoughtfully provided everything guests might need, making the stay incredibly comfortable. A+ for functionality! The bed was fantastic, ensuring a great night's sleep. My husband travels with me and he had a great time exploring the area while I was at work. Said he saw a lyrebird! We felt very safe and at ease throughout our time here. We were unable to try the local restaurants but did try the pies at the Warburton Bakery and they were great! Having stayed at numerous AirBnbs for both work and leisure, we can confidently say this is the best one we have experienced so far. It’s a real gem! Conveniently located. will definitely be returning for my next work trip and will happily recommend it to my colleagues.
