The tour will start in my shop, which is one of the many sort of coworkings for crafstmen that are based in the district. We wil ride through the different scenarios of this interesting and not very well known district full of amazing contrasts; from the old abandoned factories to the still preserved original neighborhood and the modern seafront. Although you will use upright bicycles during the tour, for safety reasons, you will of course have the opportunity to ride in one of my handmade recumbents during the multiple stops that we will make during the route. Other things to note If you find it hard to get to my shop we can meet at Poblenou subway station (the station has only one exit at the crossing of Pujades with Bilbao street) and from there walk to my shop.

In this tour, that lasts from 3 to 4 hours, we will follow the footsteps of the shepherd and his herd, looking for the greenest pastures. Be part of the shepherd's work day, listen to his stories and enter in communion with nature - smell, hear, feel and taste. At the end of the hiking activity, upon arriving at the pasture, we will share with him a small meal. The money we earn with the experience is not only to pay our work, insurance and the meal, but it is also shared with the shepherd. We live in a unique community and territory and we want to give back to it at least as much as we receive. Everything can be adapted and customized according to your wishes. IMPORTANT: Depending on the weather conditions, the shepherd's convenience, the particular characteristics of the herding activity and the ability of the group, we can follow a different plan / schedule or cancel the event. Hi everyone!! The idea of this experience is to provide the best possible full day in our hometown. Knowing Sintra like the back of our hands and all the magic it has to offer, we came up with what we believe to be the most amazing and complete way of experiencing its wonders in one full day! - Start the day in Lisbon in front of Dona Maria II Theater - Our first stop will be at the historic center of Sintra to discover its beautiful labyrinth like streets. We will talk about what makes Sintra so special while discovering its secrets and taste its unique pastry. - We will then discover the Palace of Quinta da Regaleira and get lost in its 4 hectares of mysticism and romantic arquitecture and gardens. - From here we will leave the tourists behind and go through the very picturesque and hidden towns of Colares, Penedo, Almoçageme etc. to reach the open atlantic coastline. - On the coastline we will go for a waterfront lunch before exploring its brethtaking cliff views and Cabo da Roca - The end of the World! -We will then have the best postcard like views of the Pena Palace and finish the tour with a visit to this unique romantic Palace. :) Other things to note Pick up and drop off in front of Dona Maria II Theater (15 walk from most areas on the city) Meals and Monuments fees are not included.

We'll start at the Plaza Mayor and then make our way through the old village, stopping at a local market to enjoy some entrees and drinks. Then continue our historical journey through the most ancient and interesting parts of the old town, to finally end before the majestic Royal Palace. After putting aside the history we’ll finish the tour at a really cosy, gourmet restaurant where you'll get to taste different, mouth-watering, chef made tapas, local drinks and a really special and traditional liquor quite involved with the history of the city. Of course, aside from the food goodies, we will get an opportunity to chill, know each other better and share some laughs. This experience is for those who wish to discover an authentic Spanish Leathercraft Workshop and learn how to make their own Leather items. I will show the participants the use of the tools used for Leathercraft, many of which havent changed since medievil times. I will also introduce them to the variety of different kinds of leather that exist. Each participant will have the opportunity to use real Spanish Cowhide to create a Leather item with their own hands. In the workshop the participants can choose between a pretty travelling purse (with or without a strap), an original belt, a wallet, two different purses or braided bracelets. There is also the opcion of making a piece different from these which will be designed in the act...maybe something one always wanted to make....a handbag, a mobile phone case, a belt pouch ....if this is the case the teacher should be informed beforehand. Each piece will be unique as we will use technique such as stamping or embossing to decorate it. These techniques were introduced by the Moors hundreds of years ago and have a long tradition in Spanish Leathercraft. There will not be many of us in the worshop so we have the chance to get to know eachother without hurry. For those who dont speak Spanish I speak perfect English as I am originally from Ireland. Other things to note We will be using cutter knifes at one stage of the experience although for those who prefer the Handcraftsman will do the cutting.
