On this walking tour where you will discover how was it to live in Zagreb during the turbulent years of its recent history. Firstly you will visit the site of the former Synagogue of Zagreb. Next you will walk the World War II underground tunnels while being introduced to the history of Croatia and Zagreb through the 20th century including the World War II, almost 50 years of communist Yugoslavia and the fall of communism in Croatia through the Homeland War. The tour finishes in the basement used by locals as a shelter during the air raids on Zagreb in the 1990s where the details of the Homeland War are presented through an exhibition and a video presentation.

During a 3-hour tour, you will enjoy a variety of dishes from all parts of Croatia, ranging from traditional to modern classics, and find out more about local customs. It's a fun and informative tasting tour to the largest green market, but also local restaurants, and food shops in the very city centre of Zagreb. Most of the tour will take place at the largest and most popular green market. The photo tour lasts 1,5 - 2 hours but if needed we can make it longer. The main goal is to capture emotions and provide photos that tell beautiful stories of your trip. You will get 40+ professionally edited photos within 48 hours on your email (unedited photos are not to be sent), a list of coffee & restaurant recommendations, and a small gift as a souvenir of our time in Zagreb :-) To keep it private, individual, and more relaxed, the max group size is 3 persons. We will meet at Zrinjevac park and then we will stroll through the winding streets of the medieval center, visiting architectural gems and charming squares. You will hear about our Grounded Solar System and see some planets. We will visit Cathedral from outside and find out interesting facts about it. We will explore Zagreb main farmers' market and find out why it is called Belly of the town. You will taste there something very authentic for Zagreb. We will visit Tkalciceva street and you will hear about the river that is still running below it. We will go to Upper town where you will light a candle in Stone Gate. You will hear about haunting witches, legend of Black Queen and see our most important monuments located there. You will find out interesting facts about Zagreb and Croatia, learn about most important people in our history, get to know our mysterious legends and of course be introduced to our culture and costumes (like drinking coffee for hours). As a Zagreb resident, I will share my perspective and give you my recommendations about anything you want to know about Zagreb - from art to gastronomy :) During Christmas Market I will give you best recommendations what to visit and what to try. I promise you that after our walk - you will fell in love with this town :-)

The unique experience lasts 2 hours . I will show and explain the basic flameworking technique. After an introduction about glass and safety, you will get a chance to work on a torch. Under my supervision, you will get the opportunity to make a glass blown vase and/or pendant. All your glass art will be annealed in a kiln for you. Pieces will be available for pick up or shipping one week after the class has finished. International shipping is included. During this walking tour guests will have the chance to meet the city of Zagreb, not only learning its history and facts but also seeing and feeling the city as it is behind the scenes. We will try to find as many mysterious symbols in the city as possible, we will see the "Grounded solar system"- a well-known street art installation representing our solar system, with the planets placed all across the city, but we will also get to know something about Zagreb's history and tradition as well. We will walk past some of Croatia's most famous palaces, churches and other important historical and modern buildings. We will stop to take some great photos at a few panoramic views so you can bring this unforgettable experience home with you and always remember Zagreb. Guests are recommended to wear comfortable shoes, but the walk is easy and it takes about 2,5 hours. Other things to note You should be relaxed, lightly dressed, not in a hurry and willing to hear interesting legends, stories and facts about our capital country.

Set off in a small group (max. 8 people) from Zagreb and enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Slovenian & Croatian countryside. Our licensed driver guide will get you familiar with the itinerary for the day, as well as information about the sites you are visiting and the general history of Slovenia. Approximately one hour into the drive, we will reach our first destination, Slovenia’s Capital Ljubljana. Ljubljana is one of the smallest EU Capitals also known as a city with a green soul winner of Green Capital awards in 2016. Your guide will take you for approx 2h orientational walking tour followed by 90 min. free time for you to wander around on your own. About half an hour driving from Ljubljana we will reach Lake Bled known as the image of paradise, a tourist hub on the edge of the Triglav National Park – nominated as one of the seven new wonders of the world. On Bled you will visit the famous Bled Castle, walk around the lake and admire beautiful nature. We will spend about 2 hours on Bled. After we finish the sightseeing, we will head back to Zagreb. Just kick back, relax and enjoy approx 90 min. ride back through the landscapes of Slovenia’s mountainous countryside.

Meet us in the heart of Zagreb downtown, where your super comfortable orange city bike and your guide will wait for you. We will embark on an adventure that will lead us firstly to the historical Upper Town with narrow streets opening to beautiful squares where you will learn about rich 900 years history of Zagreb. Of course, be ready to see some things other tourists will not experience, such as private courtyards or places locals hang out at. We will ride back downtown through a small forest and a park secluded from the usual tourist path. In a matter of minutes you will find yourself on a longest street in Zagreb leading us to a beautiful coffee shop where we will treat you to a refreshment and tell you about Croatian coffee culture and social habits. After we have refreshed, it is time to continue exploring the beautiful parks and architecturally spectacular squares. We will always try to take you through locations that have some special events depending on the season, but be prepared to get tempted by divine smells of street food or to dance with the kids in the park. We want you to feel like a Zagreb local, even if for 1 day! Our tour will end right where it started, and you can ask us for any recommendation regarding restaurants, shopping, nightlife, or any other topic.
