Wow! Just wow! It was our family's first vacation, Chelsey and Justin helped us feel right at home by having baby stuff already set up. Finding the place was easy, and their directions were foolproof! It was such a cozy place to spend time at, and we could not have asked for better hosts. We cannot wait to return!!

Had an amazing stay despite the weather! Woke up to a beautiful morning and they wanted us to enjoy it so told us no rush to leave stay as late as we wanted! Very friendly, easy to talk too! Would recommend very highly! Will be back for sure!

We were a group of 10 and had plenty of room. The home had pretty much everything you could ask for, one thing we were missing was a couple of hair dryers. The yard was very large and right on the water with an amazing view. Amy was great at responding to all my questions. Would defiantly come back!

We stayed at Jean's place for a family Christmas gathering. The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family. Jean is an exceptional host and ensured all the details were perfect including plenty of chopped wood, a Christmas tree and decorated home. The kitchen was well equipped for everything we needed to make a turkey dinner. We will definitely be coming back again.

Amazing place, we even extended for another day! Our family love staying in cabin and the photos don’t do justice for what we had in Meli’s place. My almost 2 yrs old daughter enjoyed it very much. She provided extra stuff for her as well! The place is very cozy too. We spend a lot of time outdoor, at night we gather in the living/dining area. When we went there, that week was very hot, but the provided fans helped a lot. At night, it can be breezy so not a problem for sleeping too. We set up an inflatable pool and tent for our daughter to experience. It was so much fun! The place is huge to be able to do a lot of things. One hop and it’s the park which is not busy at all. It leads to the lake for boat launching only. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience, we are keeping this on our list of places to go back to. Thanks Meli and to your husband as well! Simply Glamping - Group Dome

As a first time “ glamper” , this was such a great experience! Dome was spacious, beds were comfortable and found it to be cozy at night with adequate bedding and furnace. Covered outdoor kitchen area was perfect space to prepare your food. Had all the basics , just had to bring our cooler of food and plates, cutlery. Private Porta potty was very clean and on our site, however discreetly hidden. We enjoyed walking the trails and they have many outdoor games available to play if you choose to. Lynn was friendly, responsive and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Lindsey’s place was incredible. It was so relaxing and luxurious. It was well stocked with almost everything you need. We loved that it was tucked away and private so we could be by ourselves and take it all in. The sauna and hot tub were the perfect touch on a chilly evening. We will definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The dome is spacious and set up really nicely, lots of attention to detail to make it a welcoming space. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved the outdoor kitchen and sitting on the deck. We brought a cooler, dishes and utensils and were all set. The portapotty was clean and unused when we got there so we never felt the need to go over to the bathroom with plumbing. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and we enjoyed a walk around the trails - lots of wild strawberries to sample. Next time we’ll stay longer to try out all the games and go to the nearby provincial park. This dome was the most private and we loved the view of the forest.

Our experience at Refuge Bay was truly amazing and precisely what we needed for rejuvenation and reconnection. I have experienced many glamping accommodations, but this particular location and its amenities surpassed all expectations. The sauna was impressive, and we thoroughly enjoyed brewing Nespresso coffees, gathering around the fire, and stargazing with binoculars. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the entire space was exceptionally well-equipped, with thoughtful consideration given to every possible need or desire. The host was highly responsive during the entire booking process and addressed any inquiries we had during our stay. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our experience. Their guest portal was a thoughtful addition, allowing us to explore the various add-ons available, and we appreciated the opportunity to personalize our getaway with a charcuterie board and a fresh floral arrangement. We can’t wait to go back and experience this place in different seasons!

This place is beautiful! Just book it, you will not regret it. Myself, my 3yr old and a gf stayed for 2 nights and it was worth every cent and provided us with some life-long memories. We stayed in The Star dome. It had power in the kitchen area, a small fridge, and immaculate bbq, tons of prep space, a deck connecting the kitchen & dome, a fire lit, hammock and, of course, the dome. The bed was a king size & very comfortable. The dome is in perfect condition and kept was warm&dry during some monster downpours w/heavy wind. We were able to see the miniature horse, pony, and horse while we were there. Lynn was kind enough to take me & my daughter right into the field so we could pet and chill with them. Ivan, the miniature horse, was especially friendly. It was a beautiful experience for us both. All in all, this place was a little piece of heaven. I will, without a doubt, go back when the city gets to be too much. Lynn and Wayne are gems who have created a beautiful place!

We had such a lovely time at Havenstel House! Henry and Hetty are helpful, thoughtful, and kind, and their home is a comfortable, quiet, relaxing space. The room we stayed in was a much more spacious than the one the pictures showed, including couches in a cozy seating area. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the house for a girls book club weekend and the only thing that I could say was that it wasn’t long enough. We should have booked for longer. It wasn’t long gorgeous and so nice. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The hot tub was awesome, sitting on the deck in the rocking chairs and reading was immensely satisfying. The place was clean and fresh and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Olaf the caretaker was so helpful and kind and friendly. We really enjoyed speaking with him and visiting with him and Nemo (the dog). This was a 10/10 experience and we have already booked again. We highly recommend it.
