Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Wisconsin River

We had a fabulous stay at the Rustic Pines lodge. The cabin was very cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was well-appointed and made it easy to share meals together. The location is amazing! Ski in ski out with access to the Birkie trail. Ally was a fantastic host. Definitely hope to stay there again.

We stayed at Jared & Sarah - Wolf Bay Lodge Cabin for a snowmobile trip. Hosts were easy to access through messenger and quick friendly responses. Cabin was clean and decorated nicely. Plenty of futons & comfortable couch's. We rode the trails to Land O'Lakes, Watersmeet & Marenisco. I highly recommend staying here. We are already trying to plan availability when to come back to Wolf Bay Lodge.

A beautiful home in a private location. Set just steps away from Skunk Lake, it was the perfect getaway for us and our dog. The perfect way to bring in the new year.

Our stay at Phil and Judy's was great. Didn't manage to land any fish on the ice, but chalking that up to some bad weather and bad luck. Would definitely return to try again.

Great place. Had some horse barrel racing going on. This was fun to have there over the time we were there. Great view of the property from the huge windows on all rooms.

Stocked with basically everything you could need for a group of 20, including lots of kayaks and canoes that I wasn't even expecting. We had a great time!

Wonderful trail side place. Loved being in nature with more than your standard camping amenities. Beautiful cabins, perfectly clean bathrooms and showers, sauna, accessible firewood, quiet, right on the trails — and lots of hooks inside! Loved everything about it!

We had a wonderful week. The cabin was beautiful and provided everything we needed for our large family. You can tell the owners take a great deal of pride in their home and providing a great experience for their clients. The kids/grandkids loved the many water toys (kayaks, paddle boat, lilly pad, etc.) that were provided for our use. The outside areas are just beautiful and we enjoyed a campfire each night during our stay. The cabin provided a number of different living areas and the grandkids especially loved the basement and the toys that were provided. Communication with the owner was incredible. He was so helpful with any questions/concerns we had and made our stay seamless. We loved everything about our stay and give it our highest recommendation.

Great spot to spend a long weekend! The pontoon boat was clean and easy to use, and the other boats were a great perk as well. It was a little chilly while we were there, so we spent a day hiking and bouldering (there are some really cool spots within a 45 minute drive.) we were a group of 6, and while it was a smaller space, it worked just fine for us. Definitely would go back!

Brent was a fantastic host and the house was perfect for our annual fishing trip. Would definitely recommend!!

Kate and Scot have a groomed connector to the Rib Lake ski trails, which are some of the best we've ever been on. Forest Springs, Rusch Preserve, and Timm's Hill trails (plus a few others) can all be accessed via this trail system and everything is well-marked. Kate and Scot were such accommodating hosts. They kept us updated on the trail grooming and even had the sauna going for us when we were done skiing each day. At the same time, they were very respectful of our privacy. The loft itself is cute, cozy, and very comfy. We had everything we needed for our short stay. Details like aromatherapy sprays, herbal teas, and thoughtful lighting really elevated our time in the loft. The bed was very comfortable and, a big plus for us, there were lots of cozy places to curl up with a book. Overall, we had a wonderfully relaxing and fun time. We felt like we were at our own private XC ski resort. Highly recommend for a winter getaway.

So quiet and comfy in the woods. Perfect place to relax and as a launching place to recreation along the Wolf river area (we kayaked). Roomy and cozy downstairs recreation area was great for family games (provided!) or to watch a DVD.

We had a perfect stay at the lake house with our dogs for a “babymoon” getaway. Mary Lou & her husband were phenomenal hosts and went out of their way to make us feel right at home. We would definitely stay there again!

Had a great gateway weekend with my family and kids. Everything is so close, skiing and snow tubing within 5 min walk, and loved the sauna! Also, they have a nice club house, kids had so much fun splashing in large indoor pool while we were relaxing in outdoor jacuzzi.

Amazing experience in an amazing location. Everything was exactly as described, this is a perfect place for family fun! I would 100% recommend staying and we will definitely be back. The host was extremely communicative and made check in and check out a breeze with very detailed instructions for our stay. Can't wait to return!

This was a wonderful place for our family to hunker for a weekend - nice fire pit and close to trails.

My family and I loved our weekend getaway to Randy's cabin. The beds were comfortable, it was so cozy, beautiful views, so many amenities included! There were enough toys + crafts there to keep my girls occupied for weeks. They enjoyed puzzles, making bracelets, coloring, playing with dolls, air hockey, pool, the play set, and finding turtles and frogs! Randy — thank you so much for sharing your space with us!

Awesome location. Great setup for 3 couples or families. Cabin was very clean. Ice fishing was great in the bay with the private boat launch. Have stayed at several other locations in the area and this will be in the top slot now for future vacations. Awesome Hosts! Thanks again!

This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. It's in a great location and right near so many things to do. The cabin was clean, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The only missing thing was the ability to connect to wifi as the cell service in the north is not good. Overall wonderful place!

Our large three-generation family group had plenty of room to comfortably spread out between the somwhat dated but clean, homey cabins. What worked out great for us was that the three families with children ages 1-12 and earlier wake up times were able to use the larger space while the smaller cabin accomodated the couples without children and allowed a bit of liesurely vacation sleep-in time. We prepared and ate our communal meals in the larger kitchen and spread beyond the big table to plentiful seating on the large deck. The view from the deck was lovely and the walk to the lake and dock easy going for all ages. We swam every day either from the sandy, pebbly entry to the water or from jumping off the dock and swimming out to the swim pad. The water was clean and relatively free of weeds close in to the dock area. The lake was peaceful and we made plenty of use of the pontoon, canoe and sit-on kayak, caught fish, and never felt crowded. Katelyn was super to work with.

This was our second stay at the cabin and it was as restful and exquisite as our first in autumn! Coming from the city (Chicago), it’s the perfect distance for a long weekend, and the perfect size for two (+a pet, my dog loves it here!) We experienced almost 10 inches of snow this weekend and Tighe was kind enough to arrange the trails to be plowed, which we really appreciated! His selection of books and games, as well as the amenities provided (sauna, fireplace, and 24/7 beautiful views) have made this quaint cabin the perfect setting for a weekend reset on both visits.
