Vacation rentals with breakfast in Wilkes County

We had an excellent stay at Jim & Janna’s accommodation! The historic home was beautiful and welcoming. We enjoyed a lovely wine reception with charcuterie upon arrival and breakfast in the morning was delightful. The property was quiet and peaceful with beautiful greenery and outdoor spaces to hang out in. Jim & Janna have made the stay very comfortable with all the details and have anything you might need. Also, this is one of the cleanest airbnbs I’ve ever been to! Highly, highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. There was a lot of decorations on all surfaces which was a little overwhelming for me. The house served our purpose very well and we would stay again if we needed that location. The price was comparable to houses with better views in less busy places so unless I needed to be close to that location again, I might choose another place.

Jill and Rocky were exceptional hosts and incredibly welcoming. Everything was as advertised and more would highly recommend to anyone traveling in the area.

This cabin is loaded with any and everything we needed! The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked with all amenities and necessities. Pammie is a super host who communicates well and often! We’ll come back!

Carol was so easy to communicate with. The farmhouse is quaint and so very quiet and restful. Perfect for a mountain getaway.

This was our second stay with Mary Ann. She is a fantastic host. Her home is more like a bed and breakfast with homemade meals to order. She really goes the extra mile to make her guests feel at home. We will stay with her again!

This was exactly what I needed. This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but for me it couldn't have been better. For those who are looking to get away to the back woods for a peaceful retreat This is the place. Tom's place is a bit of a cross between an upscale cabin (not a chalet) and a European hostel. I rented a private room which was cozy , but there was also the option of getting a bunk in the room that was set up to host up to 4 people in the group/ hostel room. I was the only guest there so even if I had gone with the bunk room I would have still had the house to myself. The property was amazing with many trails to keep you occupied , and even better I had the fortune of using the new wood fired sauna that Tom just built on the property. For those coming to spend time at Prayer Mountain (as I was) its about a 25 min drive to PM , or The Gathering, and about 20 minute into Wilksboro. For the price you honestly can't beat it. If I get the opportunity I certainly will return
