For a long time I had the apt looked after by one of the biggest agencies in Rio.The problem was that far too few staff were looking after far too many apartments.Speaking from direct personal experience,compared to running an equivalent apt in New York or London,Rio presents unique challenges.Not only are running and maintenance costs roughly triple, but getting even the simplest things done can be challenging (especially with my occupancy rate being so high,97% in 2013!) . 4 years ago I decided to manage the apt. myself directly from London with a full time local manager .This can be at times very demanding because if something is not right,trust me, I get told about it directly.I am very aware your time here is precious and am continually working to improve the apt for your enjoyment.Now in 2014 I am confident,after 8 years of refurbishing and fine tuning, the apartment is better than ever.
