Very nice, clean and tidy guests. They were here only one night so we saw them briefly. Apologies you had to pay more than usual as the new year period is very much peak season.
Andrea and Davy were my guests under this booking name . They were pleasant and quiet guests.
Very nice host. It located perfectly close to downtown. Very comfortable place. I consider next time and wish to really take a long vacation there. Michelle helps us a lot for everything. Highly recommended!
Perfect and lovely guest! we didnt meet Christine in person , she stayed in good communicaton and kept the room very clean. Super self reliant. A hosts ideal guest. welcome back any time
I am Alexandra's son and hosted this lady whilst my parents were away on holiday. Unfortunately I would have to agree with the other review this lady has on her profile in that she is inconsiderate, unpleasant and I would add to that, rude with an extremely negative attitude.
From the outset, when she arrived, as welcoming and friendly as I was trying to be, she was totally uninterested in any sort of interaction. I was rather taken aback and found it strange but thought she was probably tired from the journey. I took her to her room, and she immediately reacted to the fact that she wasn't given a double bed but a single. I explained, (as stated on the listings) that each listing wasn't attached to a specific room but that it informs guests if there is a particular room they would prefer, then they should ask for it, if it is available, we will reserve it for them. She didn't make that request.
Secondly, she came downstairs to use the kitchen, I again referred her to the listing ie. that there is no use of the kitchen. Thirdly, she asked for slippers as she found the stairs cold??!! The stairs are carpeted, and why would you need slippers for the stairs? you use the stairs when you come into the house and leave the house, for which you would surely wear shoes? I tried to strike up a conversation whenever I saw her and to make sure that she was happy with everything but she just wasn't interested, making it a totally uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. With regards to her saying that there wasn't hot water, we have never had a problem and hot water is always plentiful 24 hours a day!
Finally, the night before her departure I asked her when she was leaving the next day. As it was very early, I told her to leave her keys and to close the front door quietly behind her. The next morning about 6am she decided to ring several times on the front door, along with a lot of banging and calling out to get someones attention, to tell me that she wanted someone to bring her bag down because it was too heavy for her and that she would be back to get it at 5pm after telling me the previous evening that she would be back about 3pm. She eventually did turn up after 6pm!
With over two hundred positive reviews and no negatives, I can only say that this was a real eye opener and an experience I wouldn't like to repeat. This lady does not enter into the airbnb spirit and maybe a hotel is more suited to her needs.
Weng Fang and friend stayed three nights in Copenhagen to experience the city. They talk good english and are interested in culture, shows, and designer shops. They spend most of the day walking mile after mile through the city to get the most out of it. Most of the time they were nice to host, only one night around midnight they kept going to and from the bath room to wash themselves at the sink. After hours, around 2 in the night and 8 rounds of washing they finally went to bed. I found that evening a bit odd, unpleasant and inconsiderate.
