I absolutely Loved staying here. It was serene, comfortable, private, and with an amazing swimming pool. What an incredible spot, quite accessible to good things in Tucson and the University campus! I would highly recommend this little cottage as a getaway, and the larger rooms if you want to stretch out more. This was perfect for my time at a conference in Tucson.
The Halcyon House was exactly what we hoped it would be and more. It's a lovely home (our three-year old called it "our adorable Tucson house") with a beautiful new master bedroom and charming patio in a peaceful part of town. We had a great week here. Highly recommended!
The little cottage was centrally-located, with easy access by car to the areas that I visited. I enjoyed sitting outside under the trees and having a swimming pool only steps away. The space is very quiet and private.
Nice place - the cottage was perfect - spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed it very much.
This place was awesome! It was wonderful, and so perfect for what we needed. It was a great location. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We rented this place for our friends who were coming into town for our wedding. They raved about it. They were super comfortable. I loved knowing they were taken care of. It was exactly as they described. We will definitely use the Halcyon house again.
Thanks so much for a wonderful experience!
Everything was as described. The hosts were very friendly and the room was quiet and comfortable. I hope to return.
We can't say enough wonderful things about our month-long stay with Jeanette and Paul at their sweet guesthouse in the heart of Tucson. Hospitality and warmth abound with them as they conscientiously attend to every detail for their guests. As we entered the guesthouse we found it to be even cuter than the pictures, with all the comforts of home, and its location was perfect for biking and walking to the many events on campus or downtown. Jeanette and Paul are such kind and welcoming hosts; we're happy to recommend their accommodation most highly and hope to see them again soon!
Really enjoyed my stay it was very quiet, clean and convenient. I would definitely recommend Jeannette and Paul
Jeannette & Paul were great host! We needed to ship a pack and play to the property for our 8mo old and they were very willing to accommodate. The house is amazing and very "Tucson" with the cactus and yard, which I loved! Plenty big, great features, fun backyard. This will be our go-to place to stay when we come to Tucson in the future.
Our stay at Halcyon House was top notch. We appreciated the varied architecture in the interior, especially in the master bedroom. The kitchen was stocked nicely with basic cooking spices and was set up well for cooking. We wished we had had more time to enjoy both the lovely front yard sitting area as well as the playful backyard. We are grateful to have had the chance to stay here.
Jeannette and Paul were wonderful guests! They were communicative about their plans, they left the property in excellent condition, and they even helped deal with tech support when the internet wasn't working. We'd strongly recommend them as guests and would welcome them back anytime.
We would welcome Jeannette and her family back as our guest anytime! Excellent communication, quiet, clean... perfect.
It is a pleasure to host Jeanette and her friend. Great guest and I would love to have them as guest again.
Jeannette was a quiet guest who was generous in her appreciation for efforts made on her behalf and settled in and made herself at home right away. We hope to see her the next time she visits Boise - the City of Trees.
