I just turned 73. I am a retired psychologist, former child play therapist, and a professional practitioner of Japanese (Tuina) massage. I'm curious, inquiring, and love live theatre, especially the British stage. I've traveled in several countries and recently returned from travel in Italy, Spain, Morocco. Two years ago I spent three days at the Occupy London sites and came away fully sympathetic to their aims and methods. I am single and have had loves and heartbreaks. I'm still hopeful. I like to exercise, usually by walking, sometimes bicycling, the gym. I have a reliable sense of humor and enjoy a serious conversation. My heros are Mark Twain, Kurt Vonnegut and Stephen Colbert. My philosophy of life is "I'm probably wrong." I like to cook. What kind of a guest am I? Three years ago I spent weeks for the first time with a home stay family in London and that became a. budding friendship. On my recent trip to Spain I was accepted at two SERVAS homes and, in London, was invited to a (website hidden) home. I speak Spanish, slowly. My newest friend is a dog named Sadie.
