Saadi was extremely helpful and the apartment is lovely. Exactly as in the photographs. It is not in the centre of Cusco, but this is actually a relief, and you can get into town easily either by bus or taxi.
The apt. has everything form hi-speed wifi to cable TV, hot showers to fully equipped kitchen.
An excellent stay and totally recommend.
Saadi was so nice to accommodate our early arrival! His sister greeted us and did her best to make sure we had everything we needed. Saadi was out of town, but kept in contact via email. The apartment is very nice! Safe building with an elevator. The bunks are very wide and sturdy with comfy mattresses and nice bedding. I appreciated the washer in the apartment with space to hang clothes. Didn't use the kitchen much but it is very well appointed. Nice TV in every room. There is a space heater to help make the place a little more cozy, but it didn't put off a lot of heat. All in all such a great AirBnB experience! Thanks Saadi!
Great apartment close to the historical center. It's in a neighborhood with cafes and restaurants close by, but you can also take a cab to the historical center for 5 soles. It was a great space for four people, with a full kitchen, dining room, and living room in addition to the bedrooms. The shower was great - hot water and good pressure. Wifi worked beautifully as well. Saadi was very responsive and, though I didn't meet him in person because he was out of town for work, he wrote us messages a few times during our stay to check in on things and make sure we had everything we needed.
Great Place! The building is next at Cusco and plaza de las armas little time only 10/15 minutes. Taxi 6 soles and bus 0,80,soles ( great option). Food, drugstore,,market and shopping center and pizza places with easy localization. Hot Water, freezer, washmachine and all that necessary to one good trio. Saadi return all messages to my questions. We will come back soon!
Saadi's place was perfect for us. It's very cozy with everything you need in the kitchen and plenty of personal local cultural touches in the decoration and books about the area. There's a supermarket right around the corner and in 60 seconds you are on a main drag to catch a taxi downtown (about 8 minutes for 5-7 S). It's a quiet neighborhood, it was everything we needed. Definitively recommend!
It was a good experience to live like a local in Cusco. Saadi's apartment has a great location. Walking distance to a large mall. 10 min taxi to plaza de armas. Saadi and his sister is very helpful. And the apartment is clean an nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
It was really nice apartment to stay! He was on a business trip so his sister greets me! It was perfect! Close to main mall and clean! I would rather stay here! If i am come back again! Thank you for everything!
Saadi's place was great for what we needed upon our arrival to Cusco. The apartment was comfortable and located just off of a Main Street-- so getting to and from was very easy. Saadi was also very responsive and easy to work with. A taxi to the centro historico was never more than 4 soles. We also felt safe at his place
Saadi's place is really cozy and has everything that travelers might need - fully equipped place. Saadi made sure we had a smooth arrival and he was within reach whenever we needed anything. The apartment is close to shops, restaurants and it is easy to catch a public transport from there. All worked just great. The two of us had a lovely time in Cusco.
Stayed at the apartment from 16-22 September 2014. Very comfortable place and safe. The building has two metal security doors, an elevator and security guard. You get keys to all.
Easy five minute walk to Real Plaza where you can find a very nice supermarket, department stores, good coffee shop choices (Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Juan Valdez), restaurants. My favorite was the laundry service a few doors down where you can drop off your laundry today and pick it up the next day. Don't bother with the washing machine. Cost, 3 soles ($1.05) per kilo ! Can't beat that deal. There is also a bakery nearby where fresh baked goods can be obtained.
There is an electric heater that works well to heat the apartment if you get cold. Flat screen TVs with cable in each room.
I'd advise taking Navy showers due to smaller [than normal size US] water heater lest you like cold showers. This is normal in Peru.
Short cab ride to the airport, 5 soles.
