Guido, 50 years old, media engineer.
I love traveling in Europe, reading - mostly spy stories and science fiction, jazz music and good food
This was my first trip to Italy, thus a first in La Spezia, and the location of the apartment was perfect. As it is about a 5 min. walk to the train station from the apartment, I was able to visit Cinque Terre with ease. Guido was very kind and provided for a very pleasant stay. He was very prompt with every communication, and he was an excellent source of information. I highly recommend this location if you are visiting La Spezia/Cinque Terre -- great location, great apartment, great host!
We decided to make a stop in La Spezia for 1 night to visit Cinque Terre.
I looked for a place to stay 48h before our stay. I chose Guido apartment for its location and size as we were traveling with our 2 daughters.
We were hurry to find a place to stay and Guido gives me a positive answer in 10 minutes. He gives me all useful information about Cinque Terre, where to park, etc.
His apartment is really spacious and perfectly located 5 minutes walking from train station (including train for and from Cinque Terre). Short stay but Quality and easy stay!
This was everything that it promised. A huge bedroom with double bed and another huge bedroom with two singles. A kitchen and bathroom. Lots of space and very easy to get to Cinque Terra and Portovenere. Guido is a great host.
La Spezia was a thriving and friendly city - a good home base for our exploration of Cinque Terre. This apartment was spacious and very comfortable for our family of five, and Guido's hospitality and efficient communication made the experience a pleasure!
We highly recommend House Nautilus.
Fine place, guido is a great host! he gave us all we need. I recommend this place!
This was our our first Airbnb experience and we were really happy with how everything worked out. Guido and Rosanna were great, Rosanna even got us some flowers since we were on our honeymoon.
The apt was well-located and very clean. My husband was in love with the bookcases and high ceilings. The apt has everything you could need--iron, washer, wifi, hair drier, baby stroller, etc. and Rosanna gave us some local restaurant recomendations.
Thank you, Guido and Rosanna for a lovely stay in La Spezia!
Perfectly situated and clean appartment in the center of La Spezia. Walking distance to the train station (~3min; with fee based parking garage) and the main square ist just around the corner.
Do not write off La Spezia as your launching pad to see Cinque Terra. If you do you will miss out on staying at House Nautilus. This house is only a 5 minute walk from the rail station and close to all that la Spezia and Cinque Terra has to offer. The host Guido really makes sure that that all holiday requirements are met.
Nautilus is top shelf accommodation. Modern, super clean and spacious. So comfortable and relaxing plus homely.
Guido's brief yet highly informative induction to the sights and services of La Spezia and surrounds was excellent and very much appreciated. Thank you Guido
Do not forget to visit the very attractive and impressive La Spezia harbour area. It really is something very special and only 10 minute walk from Nautilus through the walking mall. Very convenient to catch a boat to view Cinque Terra
Catch the bus, a 10 minute ride to Port Venere and you will be absolutely charmed by this little seaside village that is overflowing with enchanting buildings and historical wonder. Great restaurants too overlooking its pleasant harbour
We had a great holiday here and are so pleased that we chose Nautilus otherwise we would have missed out on so many lovely experiences. Highly recommended
If you're staying in la spezia, do not look further I would strongly recommend this place. Guido was a really good host. Nice apartment (close to the train station) , really well maintained.
We left some stuff at the apartment and Guido even called us, left our stuff to pick up at the tourist center.
I travelled with three other friends and stayed at Guido's apartment for only one night. Despite our brief overnight stay at the apartment, we found it to be clean and spacious. Well located (only 5 minutes walk from the central train station). We arrived late (10pm) and Guido was still available to welcome us at the apartment. Definitely a recommended place to stay while at La Spezia or with intentions on visiting Cinque Terre, like us.
Guido è una persona cordiale e simpatica. Il suo desiderio di conoscenza per le cose lo rende ancora più simpatico. Anche se per poco tempo è stato un picere averlo come ospite.
