Great place. Host was polite and welcoming. Incredible view. All the amenities were functioning.
Great place in a location that was very close to Joshua Tree National Park. Spacious and peaceful, it was the perfect space for us and our friends to get together, relax and catch up. Lanier and Caan were the perfect hosts, answering questions and providing advice, but not at all intrusive. If in the area again we would surely stay here again.
Lani's Guesthouse is a great place right near the entrance to JTNP. We had a great weather and cooked and dined both nights outside. The house is very comfortable and decorated with wonderful items from travels around the world. A great spot. And easy to forget the city while we were out there.
Loved the guest house. It was well located and the perfect place to stay when exploring the park. My children loved having their own rooms as well! We are planning to go back again and spend even more time in Joshua Tree.
Our stay at Lani's place was very good though we stayed there only for one night but we really enjoyed it. The house is very nice and you have your privacy and best part is it is almost inside the park. Rooms were very clean and kitchen had everything we needed. We carried wood logs and they had burning assistant at there place we enjoyed the patio and chilly night in front of burning woods. Things were exactly the way they were explained and also Lani was very helpful and gave us ideas on things we can checkout when we were in town. We really liked the breakfast place she recommended. Crossroads Cafe and Tavern (website hidden).
Lovely house! Lani accommodated us last minute, which was much appreciated. You can tell that she and Caan are well traveled from the eclectic decor from around the world. It was also really nice that the kitchen came stocked with go-to condiments and seasonings. Thanks for a great getaway!
It's actually a guesthouse, not really a b&b in its proper definition (bed AND breakfast), since you have only a kitchen and you have to fill it with food If you want breakfast. But, for the rest, the house Is pretty, clean and confortable, and it's perfect as a place to have a rest and a shower after a day of hiking in Joshua Tree park.
This lovely desert retreat really shaped a great experience for us at JT.
The house has a very good and spacious feeling to it, tasteful minimal design, native american inspired. Great patio/yard space with peaceful corners to sit down and watch the sunset and sunrise.
We came at winter time, cooked every night, star gazed while warming up with the chiminea outside and snuggled indoors.
Friendly neighborhood too (Say hi to Sheryl up the street with the horse stables :))
