We had a great time staying at Aesha's. Her apartment is located in an excellent neighbourhood close to everything. The room is really nice and spacious and Aesha is really helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.
Aesha is lovely. She met us on arrival, showed us around the apartment and made us feel welcome. She provided us with fantastic recommendations for dinner and a lovely touch was to leave a 101 things to do in LA by the bedside table. The bathroom was en-suite and the apartment was clean and decorated tons high standard.
We are very surprised about all the positive comments here on Airbnb. We stayed at Aesha's place for four nights and we were very disappointed and the apartment isnt what you expect from an Airbnb. There was pretty much nothing in this apartment, it felt like no one has ever lived there and the floor and the bed was fully covered with hair! very disgusting! The kitchen looked pretty awful and we never had a thought of preparing any meals there. The walk to Hollywood Blvd is nearly about 30 mins. We didnt get to see Aesha. Unfortunately there are no positive things to say and we dont recommend this apartment to anyone!! Very bad Airbnb experience.
Aesha was home when we arrived and had arranged for parking for us (although we had not asked for this). The welcome was nominal and then she went back to work (works from home). The good things - the bed was very comfortable, the place was clean, the ensuite was ok (really good hair dryer), the neighbourhood was fine but we knew that ahead of time, free parking, free WiFi and use of evrything in the kitchen. Also, the location is great if you want to explore LA. Everything that you would want to visit is about 30 to 45 minutes away by car (depending on traffic).
It is fine for one or two nights but we were there for a week and it would have been nice if there were reading lights in the BR, more than one fork in the cutlery drawer, a TV in case we wanted to stay in one evening and just veg out. We are at least a generation older than Aesha and we could feel the gap.
Noise can always be an issue and you take a chance when using AirBNB. The traffic in the street was noticeable until about 11 pm and the next door resident decided to turn on their TV at 3:30 am one night. We have learned to travel with ear plugs and certainly required them on this trip.
Overall the value for money was good but there could be some cost effective improvements.
Great location! Aesha was very easy going, the room was great, and we even had a garage for our car. Her apartment is right next to everything. I would definitely stay here again!
After having a few conversations with Aesha prior to my stay, I was made to feel welcome on arrival.
I was expecting this to be an apartment rental. Although I did have access to the other facilities in the apartment such as the kitchen (which I didn't use) this was to me a room rental. This was fine, just not what I was expecting especially after clarifying this. I have also noted that the listing description has changed from apartment to room.
The room was nice, clean and large and the description of the apartment and area are accurate. The location of this apartment is fantastic. Only a 10 minute walk from Hollywood Boulevard with access to numerous buses and metro to take you around the city.
Overall a good stay :)
Aesha me ayudo a decidir que lugares visitar y experimentar lo mejor de LA. La ubicación del apto y vista hermosa, muy lindo y cómodo.
A 15 minutos a pie de Walk of fame, y 5 de Hills. ( Hollywood sign). Barrio muy seguro y bien ubicado para movilizarse a Beverly hills, y al rededores de California.
It wasn't my first experience with airb&b and I always met only good host. But not this time. I felt very unwelcomed at Aesha house.
I arrived 1h earlier than I suppose to so Aesha via text suggests if me and my mom can spent that hour in neighborhood cause she is not at home-totally understandable. When was time to check in she wasn't home so I was waiting outside for more details. Aesha called me to give me instruction how to entering the building. She didnt tell me if I can go inside her apartment so I was knocking the door and wait outside about 15min. She wasn't home after all so why me and my mom have to spend hour walking around after 6hrs trip when she didn't even planning to show up.
Next thing: on her page she admit that there is a privet parking lot for guest. Not there is not. Every time we have to spend 10-30min to find a spot on that busy street!! When I ask her about it, she told me that she will ask the building's manager about keys for parking. Never get answer back.
My mom can't speak english but at least she can say hi or introduce herself. She behave like she doesn't care. Very rude.
Poorly equipped kitchen.
Aesha behave like we were not welcomed at her place. We choose airb&b with kitchen cause we didnt want to spend money for restaurant. when we prepered our meal Aesha was look very friendly... Like we interrupted her. How much noise we can make when we cooked pasta with tomato sause or make scrambled eggs???
Bed linens was full of hair.
No milk, old fruits.
Only two good thing: location and comfortable bad.
I'm sorry you had a less than satisfactory experience. Secure parking is available, however guests usually request/confirm they need a spot before check-in so I can arrange this for them. I wish you the best on your future AirBnb experiences.
This was our first Airbnb reservation and it met all of our expectations. Her place is in a nice area and very easy to find. Aesha wasn't home when we arrived, but left us keys and gave us very clear instructions on how to get into her condo. Her apartment was clean and left fresh towels for us to use. If the apartment garage isn't available, there is parking on the street. It was pretty easy to find parking during the week day, but a little more difficult over the weekend, but we managed nicely. The area she lives in is very safe, so even if we parked at the bottom of the hill, it was a peaceful and relaxed 5 minute walk. We didn't see her around too often, but when we did, she was very kind and readily offered us some great restaurants to try. She knows LA very well, so definitely ask! The location of her condo is amazing! It's about a 10 minute walk to Hollywood Blvd. and to many other touristy attractions in LA. It is also a 10 minute drive to Warner Brothers Studio and to the Observatory. Aesha's condo was definitely a great and quiet place to stay after a long day of sightseeing. My husband and I will definitely book with her again the next time we come to LA. Thanks Aesha for being such an amazing host!
Aesha was a really great host. She was very welcoming and gave us some great advice for places to eat. The apartment was very clean and the wifi connection was very reliable.
I would highly recommend.
Aesha was a really nice guest. She worked most of the time here, so I didn't get to see her much. She was also pretty clean too.
