Milton's little house is a magical and amazing place. He has given SO MUCH attention to detail!! Every little thing inside this house is there to make your stay wonderful. The place is not only beautiful, clean and practical, Milton left little things like candy, milk, eggs and all sorts of things to make you feel at home. Milton is also a great host, unobtrusive but unbelievably kind. He answered ours texts immediately and even gave us a gift during our stay. Thank you so much, Milton!
This little house was lovely and spotlessly clean. Milton and his wife were there to greet us. The "casita" is stocked with staples like coffee, milk, eggs, cereals, etc. so we were able to make breakfast in the morning. The location was easy to find with a GPS and Milton sent me directions (with pictures) to make sure we could find it. The setting is very pastoral, with horses (and a newborn colt) in the farm to the one side, roosters crowing in the morning and an iguana that strolled out from under our car as we read on the front porch. Our hosts thought of everything we might need, including some rum, shampoos, clean towels, bug spray, dish soap and even a Glade automatic freshener, that kept the cottage smelling fresh throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this to anybody wanting a quiet, clean place to stay. It's about 1 hr. 15 minutes from San Juan on P.R. 22, and easy to get there. We visited the caves, which were nice, but didn't get to see the Arecibo Observatory . . . just ran out of time. I had mentioned that our 49th wedding anniversary was coming up, and the day before we left, Milton and his wife showed up with a gift for us: chocolate covered strawberries! All in all, a wonderful stay, and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Milton!
Very coasy and beautiful. Very clean and well equipped located in a nice and save area. Sleeping bei exzellente. 100% reccomendable.
Milton's house was indeed a perfect tiny house. It was stocked well beyond essentials; Milton's really put together absolutely everything you could possibly need and made it available for your use. And super clean and tidy!
My friend and I had a perfectly wonderful stay in Milton's Tiny House. Milton and his wife have created a very charming house, with homey touches that are just right. The couple clearly cares about their guests and wants to ensure that they enjoy their stay, and they are very happy to help out in suggesting places to visit or in planning things to do. The little extra touches (waffle iron, fridge stocked with fresh eggs and milk, toiletries made available, first aid kit) made our stay extra special.
The Tiny Purple House was amazing. I absolutely fell in love with it! Milton had thought of everything! The loft bed was so comfortable, the shower had hot water, the kitchen and mini fridge were well stocked, and the host was so helpful and friendly. My only regret is that we didn't stay here longer! 5000% would stay again.
Milton's place was an excellent value. I will stay there again and would recommend to friends. Milton is a perfectionist in how he presents this place to renters. It is clean, neat, very well organized and has everything that you might need. You can show up here tired and just relax. The frig and pantry is stocked with things to make your first night there very relaxing. Milton is also working on growing food trees on the property to make it even more sustainable. There is a horse farm next door with some chickens but there was no odor or flies.
Milton was very friendly and had some very good suggestions for things to do in the area. The house was very cute, clean and had everything I needed. I only wish I had planned to stay longer!
Awesome Host! Our 1st time to PR and after arriving and driving to Arecibo it was dark and we got lost, but oh so close, and Milton talked us into his place. He even was willing to drive down to the Subway on the corner and lead us in. He also offered to drive and have us follow to show us places to eat that evening, very nice host! The Little House was perfect for my wife and I. Like the other reviews there was candy on the table and eggs and cold bottled water and a couple of beers in the fridge. A good bottle of Rum too! Internet was good along with DISH and a large flat screen TV. Air conditioning and fans that made it very comfortable. Very clean with everything you need. Went to the lighthouse and the locals beach next to it for a great swim, don't miss this beach, the swimming area was great with crashing waves just outside against the rocks that protect it. Stayed 2 nights and when we return we will definitely contact Milton again.
