I am married with three adult children who have all left the nest. My partner Anne still works but I am retired and spend most of my time bike riding, swimming and doing small renovation work either on our Melbourne house or at our house in Lorne where Forest View is located. Much of my time is also spent as a volunteer English language tutor and doing handyman/building work on remote Aboriginal communities around Australia. I love cooking and have a love of most food but especially cheese and I am also a home cheese maker, my favorites being soft washed rind cheese and blues. My aspiration (probably unachievable) is to make a blue that comes near the best French blues like Roquefort and Saint Argur.
