I'm a tireless social change enthusiast with a passion for sustainability and urban agriculture, a knack for social media and community building, and an appetite for blogging and photography.
I have a strong connection with food: growing it, preparing it, and sharing it. It truly is one of the things I live for and I am always looking to expand my knowledge professionally and personally - either through the work of non-profit organizations or in my own garden (or micro-farm) in the temperate climate of my lovely home "town" of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada!
Art, the art of thrifting, food gatherings, film grain, supper clubs — a few of my favourite things!
Geography is another passion of mine (so much that I studied it at university). The geography of distance, the geography of people and place, the geography of culture. I have spent the majority of my adult life exploring these ideas through photography, writing, theory, and design. One way I haven't explored this nearly enough? Through travel. I aim to change this as well as document my experiences.
I've loved exploring the quaint islands of the BC coast, the rain-swelled towns and cities of South Ireland, the history of the stones in Scotland, the wind-swept cliffs of Wales, the calamity and culture of England, the ocean breath of Jamaica.
There's so much of the world I have yet to see!
