Such a nice place in a great area. I just met Derin for a few minutes and he was very nice and easy going. I've been here for 5 days and it already feels like home.
LOVE the neighborhood, and being from the bay area, I LOVE the house. Would come again.
It was located in very quiet neighbourhood, just a few minutes walk from a up rising Sunset Blvd. where many great restaurants are. We enjoyed unique and eclectic atmosphere of the house! Good vibe!
I didn't get a chance to meet Derin or Heather, but was left very clear instructions and tips for staying at their place. It was a beautiful house in a great location - walking distance to Sunset Blvd. The house was clean and the bedroom spacious. Shared the house with another guest who was great fun to talk to!
Heather was currently travelling but Derin was such a great host. The place is amazing and you feel instantly at home! When I go back to LA I would love to stay there again.
Derin's place is fantastic. We met him on the day we arrived along with Odin (who is a gorgeous dog) and he was friendly and very accommodating.
The bed we had was super comfy and the size of room was great too. The whole apartment is nicely laid out and the kitchen and appliances were great for what we needed. Hannah and Chris who were renting the other room were also great company (being from england was a bonus too!). As a first air bnb experience, this was amazing and we highly recommend staying here! 5/5!
My cousin and I had an awesome time here in Silver Lake! It's a really fun neighbourhood and is super close to a lot of fun things to do. The house itself is very cute and has a lot of character. Derin was a great host as well and their dog, Odin, was beyond beautiful. Would stay here or recommend this place again 100%!
Heather was out of town, and although Derin was staying elsewhere in town, he was very welcoming and getting settled was super easy. The room was very large, and quite comfortable. Various restaurants/bars are within walking distance, although they are widely spaced. Parking was never a problem.
The listing description was mostly accurate -- I was expecting to see the hosts more frequently, but they don't spend much time there; I learned during my stay that they have both of their bedrooms listed on airbnb, so I was staying there with another couple from England. I loved the amount of space and the eclectic vibe. I would, in general, have preferred it to be cleaner. The bedroom and kitchen were decent, but the bathroom definitely could use a scrub. The towels were quite used (they were old and stained beach towels). That being said, it was a very relaxing and easy place to be. The neighborhood was a great place to explore, and the street was very quiet at night, I felt safe and comfortable.
Heather and Derin were super friendly and very kind.
They are lovely people.
Thank you for visiting Patwa Haweli.
Thanks a lot for coming and staying with us.I personally didn't get to interact with the couple but I hope they enjoyed their stay at our homestay. I near future would love to host them again.
