As AirBnB hosts we are known for our high standards, updated/maintenance, and amenities that others do not provide that make our PRIVATE unit extremely popular in the OASIS Resort year-round and to repeat guests. We do extreme housekeeping within a short 5hr window, prepared with alternating fresh wash/pressed sheets, towels and rugs... complete wash/down of drawers/shelves, vac/steam cleaning furnishings and floors. All our appliances are energy-efficient, and work appropriately if you close the refrigerator door, clean the dryer lint trap, etc. The bedroom carpets of sisal grassweave carpet (common in tropics) make for a unique experience. We are aware of one distinguishable growing crack over the years that has plans for a new bamboo floor. The valley surrounded by mtns may cause poorer cell reception if your provider is not VERIZON, however we provide unlimited secured wi-fi that most units do not!
Granted, we may miss a few dust bunnies, things break, and people have preferences - yet this is a guest HOME. Unfortunately the Gardiners did not communicate their needs beforehand for a sterile environment due to "allergies" or the provision/fee for their pet to which we could have better prepared... or refused their booking. We would have filed a damage claim on cushions they destroyed had they not replaced them. For someone who left every kitchen item & washed towel disorganized, their review is totally unwarranted and insulting.
With our history of happy guests/experiences over the last five years, we will be more partial to reviews/correspondence in the future to avoid situations like this.
