Traveler and gourmet
Renata was very nice and understanding, she accepted us although it was a last minute request. The apartment was comfortable and we had everything we needed, she also provided a hairdryer.
I recommend !
My friend Matthew and I made a stop on our European road trip in Zadar and were very lucky to have as wonderful of a place to stay as Renatas. Her small apartment was exactly what we were looking for equipped with good wifi, great kitchen utensils and an amazing bed. Renata was a very kind and helpful host and I was very pleased with my three nights at her listing.
I spent a month in Renata's apartment in Zadar.
The location is excellent, 30 seconds from the water, two minutes from the old town, and ten minutes from the airport bus stop.
The apartment is on the sixth (top; no elevator) floor of an apartment block. The apartment was clean, larger than I expected, and in good condition. The view was a pleasure to wake up to every morning. The bathroom was slightly dated and I probably would have been willing to pay $100/month more for an updated shower--it's the type where you hold the shower head, and the tile was clean but quite worn--but the water pressure and heat were both great. There's a washing machine, too (worked fine and it was easy to find an English manual online).
The apartment was well-stocked with linens, dishes, and kitchen basics like coffee and tea. The internet was 10mbps down/1mbps up, but felt faster; I had no issues on Skype or watching video.
There's a nice cafe next door and several bakeries and a grocery store (and many more cafes) within five minutes' walk. You can buy a 3GB 4G SIM card five minutes' walk away for just over US$10.
Renata was very welcoming and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay enough to want to return to Croatia next summer.
Great communication with host! She was so kind to pick us up from bus station. Apartment had everything we needed. It was great to be able to wash our clothes. Internet was fast with no interruptions during our one week stay. Best of all, location was prime; just steps away from the old town where most everything is. Highly recommended!
The house and host was perfect maybe the best experience that we had in our trip in Croatia.
Renata picked up us by car at Zadar's bus station which was very helpful as we didn't know the city and we arrived very late from France. (11:00 PM)
She explained us all the tips for visiting Zadar: how to change money, where buying food, and where eating in good restaurant.
She was very available during all my stay. She answered immediately at all my questions by phone. Best of all, she brought me back a bag that I've forgotten in her car, that was absolutely nice. :)
Thanks a lot Renata,
Sami and Emilie,
Renata was very welcoming and even drove us to city centre! The place was very nice and private and of course exceptionally clean. Everything was there and we did not even have to request anything :)
Renata was a very nice and welcoming host and gave us lots of recommendations of what to do in Zadar. The room was really cozy and light with a wonderful view. It was perfectly located just near the bridge to old town and we could easily find a parking place on the street just outside. Good for your excercise are the five floors without elevator. We give it our very best recommendations!
Renata was great. She picked us up from the bus station and gave us some tips for our stay. The appartment was amazing! Very modern, we felt at home imediately. The place is just a 5 min walk to the old town which you can see from the appartment. There is a cheap bike rental at the cafe at theharbour front. Very nice!
We contacted Renata via WhatsApp prior to arrival. She met us at the apartment, showed us around it and gave us a few recommendations for places to eat and things to do, along with a city map. The apartment is very nice and comfortable. We slept great. Would definitely stay her again.
We found the apartment was absolutely lovely everything we needed ! It's extremely clean and Renata was such a pleasure to have met and extremely helpful, driving us to the airport was a huge help to us. Despite being 10 minutes away from the centre it was nice to see a more residential area of Zadar and a very pleasant walk to town. Thanks again Renata ... Sandra
It was lovely time hosting her and her friend. They are friendly guests and easy and left super clean room. Hopefully welcome their back again.
Renata is very nice. She is always smiling and I've a good mind. She let my apartment in a petect place. I hope they spent a good time in Paris am in my apartment and I hope they will spend a good trip in Vietnam. Next time we come in Croatia :)
Cosa dire.
A presto!
Cara Carmen. e stato vero piacere conoscerti! Ci vediamo presto, a Roma o a Croazia :)
It was a great meeting. Renata and her friend are warm hearted, understanding and so happy, I enjoy to meet them very much. Actually they are happiness itself !
Renata and Antoinia were wonderful guests. They were very adventurous and active tourists who explored as much of New York City as they could; even despite the L-line not running for a weekend, they didn’t let that slow them down. They shared much information about their home country, Croatia, and even brought wonderful gifts and magazines with many pictures to admire their country. We will definitely host them in the future when they return!! So back off – other host people.
