We were in the Hunter Valley for a wedding, and Mark's house was perfect! It was quirky and had a very homely feel. The property was clean and well looked after. I would 100% recommend Mark's house to anyone visiting the Hunter Valley and looking for a cosy place to stay.
Mark's house is so comfortable and inviting. The house was easy to find and instructions on where to find everything was straightforward. The house was clean, the rooms were open, the beds were comfy as was the lounge and seating at the dining table. The art work is beautiful and initiated discussion. My family and I spent 3 nights at Mark's whilst we attended my niece's wedding which was closeby at a winery, so the trips back and forth were quick. Branxton is not quite 10mins drive and has an IGA etc for quick supplies. Mark left coffee, bread, butter etc so we didn't go without. The area is quiet, in fact very peaceful and there is a playground across the road which my daughter raced back and forth to. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for anyone considering an interlude from their residence.
Our stay at this quaint little place was lovely. We had everything we needed and there was loads of space. Mark was always available or replied quickly to any questions. Great location, far enough away from the hussle bussle but not to far and close to the freeway.
Yes the place itself is old and not your modern sparkling accommodation, but it makes up for that in it's charm and quirkiness, and that's why I chose it. Not disappointed in any way and would happily stay here again. Thank you.
Mark was a lovely host, he went through all the facilities and "all we need to know about the house" upon arrival. The place is lovely and we couldn't ask for more.
Me and my friends had a fabulous long weekend there. :)
Mark was very helpful and easy to deal with. The house was very nice but we were unable to stay for our full booking. I understand that this is a relatively old building and may be difficult to maintain, however we found it to be very dusty and with lots of cobwebs. Unfortunately one of our group, who has mild asthma, was badly effected so we were unable to stay.
Mark communicated very well with us on arrival procedures.
Mark was fantastic- he was easily contactable and was very hospitable for the entire stay. The house was very clean and very very homely- perfect after a big wedding!
Will be staying again if we need a place in the hunter, and will be recommending it to friends!
Mark was a great host who made us feel very welcome. The place is fantastic not far from the vineyards, perfect for our weekend away. It is fully stocked so you can cook, chill on the couch or hang with a bottle of red. Mark checked to make all alright before we arrived and during our stay.
Mark's house is a great place to base yourself while attending a concert, doing some wine tasting or just relaxing. We had everything we needed and all communication was straightforward and clear from start to finish. I would recommend Mark's place for a visit to the Hunter Valley any time.
We had a lovey stay in Rothbury. Plenty of space for the 6 of us. Communication with Mark was very easy and he was always quick to reply - nothing was a hassle.
The breakfast provisions were great as well - particularly the fruit toast.
Hi Mark, thanks for choosing to stay with us on the beach front in Manly.
As always you are a terrific guest to have stay and you left the flat tidy and cleaned
Thank you again
