Love sailing ,travel, food & wine.
Loved the place Mark. Clean and spacious and close to all the wineries. Perfect location for a Hunter getaway. Thanks again
We had a great stay in Mark's place, there were only three of us but would happily recommend it for four people and if you have a group of friends and someone doesn't mind slightly less privacy I would definitely say have the extra two people in the loft.
Only suggestion I would say is that if there's two of you then I would be perhaps inclined to spend a similar amount of money and stay in Lovedale or Pokolbin but once you hit more than two people or you have friends that want a different room then this is definitely a good bet.
We didn't use the facilities (only the fridge) but everything seemed in good working order and enough stuff to be able to use to cook for yourself.
Had a great time staying here. Mark is just fabulous and great on communication. Very comfortable home with lots of space. Highly recommend!
Mark was very helpful through the whole booking process and answered all my queries quickly and efficiently. Very comfortable and look forward to dealing with Mark in the future.
Great stay, awesome location, unique place. Recommend.
My first venture with AirBandB was a terrific one thanks to Mark. His home - a former chapel - is very charming, with stained glass windows and beautiful paintings that reflect Mark's passion for food. (He is a chef.) My friend and I were thrilled to have access to a washer and dryer, and when we had issues upon our arrival trying to discern between the beeping coming from the washing machine and the security alarm, Mark rushed over from a busy work event to help us figure things out.
We were going to a concert at Hope Estate (which I also recommend without reserve), and the house was very convenient by car.
My boyfriend and I took the boyfriend's parents up to the Hunter last weekend and decided to stay in Mark's lovely home. What a unique and quirky place! We loved it. Mark was incredibly helpful, gave us all the info we needed to find our way and get settled and even provided recommendations for places to visit which were all beautiful and places we wouldn't have found without him!
Thanks for a lovely weekend Mark!

Myself and two friends stayed at this lovely converted church for 1 night while attending the Day on the Green festival. The place is very charming with loads of character but also very comfortable with lovely beds, towels, everything you need and it was quite cool at night despite it being the height of summer. We'd definitely stay there again - much more interesting than a bland hotel room.
The Hunter Valley is such a great weekend destination from Sydney - music, wine, great food - what more could you ask for?
Marks place is cool! Perfect location for a weekend in the Hunter.
Mark has a charming cottage in the Hunter that met all our expectations.
Mark was a great host who provided us with information on the Hunter Valley.
Whilst we did not have to contact Mark, he checked in with us to ensure that we did not need anything.
Booking and access was really easy and I would recommend a stay here.
