Hi....I love to accomodate people and make friends from all over the world. I also like travelling, exploring new cultures and good music, good food, nice people...:)
I also have a place in Nice, but in the Vielle Ville, so I know Nice well, and just needed a place to stay for a few days while my place was occupied. I immediately put Tamara's apartment on my wish list, upon viewing the photographs. It was beautifully decorated and appointed. I loved the textiles, the metal screens, the little turquoise stones in the sink!
The apartment is in the Carre d'or- a short walk from the sea and very good for shopping. Also the Rialto movie theatre is literally around the corner! It is one of the few theatres in Nice which shows VO (Original Version, not dubbed!) high quality films.
Tamara was a lovely host. I would strongly recommend her apartment.
It was our first experience renting a flat somewhere and I might say that we were very happy with our choice!! Tamara wasn’t in the city when we arrived but she prepared the flat perfectly! The apartment is very well and centrally located in a beautiful old building, just behind the Negresco and the sea (we love Nice and have been here for many times) and very convenient for everything: beach, shopping, restaurants. Close to a flat there is a parking that is also very handy. But the main thing that I loved in this flat was kitchen! There was everything that you can only imagine! Well equipped, a lot of gadgets! I adore cooking and it was a very nice surprise for me! I can really recommend it to people who want to discover Nice and Cote D'Azur! Tamara, thank you so much!
Tamara was lovely and welcoming. her apartment was lovely and the room was very nice!! i had a great time chatting with tamara!
Tamara shared all the apartment with us including the kitchen. Small but beautiful. We had a great time, recommendation !
Tamara is a wonderfull host we loved our stay with her. The location is more than perfect. Everything is within walking distance and the room is very quiet even with this very central location. The bar just next door makes a really nice place for breakfast at for Nice very decent prices. We will highly recommend Tamara and her place for any future guest.
Great apartment with style and character, in an old house with a unique atmosphere... Tamara - great woman with a big heart. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday!
Tamara is the sweetest lady! Her apartment is very clean and cozy; it is also 5 minutes away from the beach with tones of little cafes and stores right around the corner. It is a beautifully decorated apartment filled with personalities. We got to share a glass of wine the night we arrived with Tamara and she has lots of interesting stories to share :) You will find all the essentials you need and more in her apartment.
A very relaxed and charming host who is open to sharing her lovely home with you. It would have been great to get to spend more time hanging out with Tamara!
It might be a bit hot in the room over summer nights, but there is a big fan in the room.
We had a fantastic stay in Nice at Tamara's beautiful big apartment. The whole flat is decorated really nicely, and has a very large and comfortable guest bedroom, as well as the biggest bathroom I have ever seen in a unit.
The location is perfect, literally one street back from the beach and very close to all of the boutique and high street shops. If you are driving, I parked just 50m up the street in the Palais Messina carpark, and paid only 86 euros for 5 days with come and go access, which is ridiculously cheap compared to Sydney parking prices.
We spent 2 days just relaxing on the beach, one day at one of the private beaches, Florida Beach plage, and the other at the public beach near the Neptune private beach club. Both days were good, but we really enjoyed the private beach, so much more comfortable given the uncomfortable rocks that you need to lay your towel down on at the beach, so the cushioned beach lounges at the private beaches are most welcome ... just be careful to count your cocktails, the bill adds up rather quickly.
The other days we checked out Cannes and Monaco, the drive to Monaco was really spectacular (take the coast road) and we had a good time there, but we felt that Nice was far "nicer" than Cannes :-)
Tamara herself was a wonderful host, very accomodating and easy going, happy to have a wine and a chat with you and more than able to assist with any suggestions or problems that may arise during your stay.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone considering visiting Nice.
Tamara's apartment is large, very modern with all facilities and located very close to the Promenade des Anglais. Tamara is very nice and helpful since she knows a lot about Nice and la Côte d'Azur. I recommend this place for anyone visiting the area since you can take the train and go to all places around very conveniently. Thank you Tamara. Richard
Tamara’s place was nice, clean and central and a good place to stay for a couple of days in Nice. It’s close to the train station which takes you wherever you want to go on the Cote A’Zur and it’s also very close to Viex Nice and Central Nice. Plenty of restaurant and bars nearby as well as a cinema that plays English films (i.e. not overdubbed). Tamara is a nice and relaxed host.
Looking at the photos, I almost wanted to cry. It was and is such a special place in my heart. The lovely lady who rents the space is great, she has created a great energy and ambience in her home. I always felt welcome and had privacy or the option to have morning coffees and great chats with Tamara. It was always easy and I always looked forward to going back home after a day out.
The location is fantastic, and it is very quiet. I loved her design eye and you felt like you were in a home where someone took pride in it. I cannot recommend this enough, I'll be heading to France in the summer again and I look forward to staying here again.
I agree with the other reviewer, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
