Cindy couldn't have made this process easier. The apartment was immaculately clean upon my arrival and Cindy was always available for any questions or concerns during the entirety of my stay.
“I stayed here for 3 weeks on a work trip and had a great time. It’s a very stylish apartment that’s well equipped and located in a well looked after and secure apartment block, and on a clear day you can see Mt Hood from the kitchen window. It’s perfect if your working in any area of Portland as it is only a 2 minute walk to the MAX train station with direct connections to the airport and Beaverton. If your looking to spend time in downtown Portland then it’s only a 10 minute walk so it’s very central. 5 stars." - Andy Brown
The apartment and building was perfect for both myself and my partner. It had ample space, good internet and working ac. The host was always available if I needed anything. The listing was on the edge of the pearl district and a short walk to all bars and restaurants. My only small annoyance were the trains as I found them to be very loud so bring ear plugs which will help with the sleeping situation.
Place was spacious, with nice decoration and nice amenities to make our stay comfortable. Communication was prompt and Cindy was very flexible with our check in and check out time.
The loft itself is very cute and stylish. We had some minor hiccups along the way, but Cindy was very responsive and accommodating, doing her best to make the stay as comfortable as possible for us.
Somethings I wish I would have known before staying here:
- This building is right by a homeless shelter and also a train. As such it is VERY loud at nearly all hours of the night, even with the windows closed.
- The parking spot available for the loft in the garage is very very tight. We had rented a Prius and it barely fit in the spot, and it was quite tricky to get in and out of.
Outside of the above, this is in a good space in a good location, very accessible to Downtown/The Pearl and as I said above, Cindy was a good host.
Very happy with our stay in this private, well appointed house in SE Portland. The space works wonderfully and when we were at home we felt relaxed. The back yard is nice and has a great patio / grill, close to multiple grocery stores, a big park and in a quiet neighborhood.
This house was a godsend for us. It's very close to Lewis and Clark College where my daughter just began her Freshman year. My husband and his eleven year old daughter were there too. We were joined later by another family, my daughter's boyfriends parents who were also moving him into college. This is a stressful and important moment in all of our lives and this house made us all at ease and we shared many good times there.
We also loved Multnomah village, which is an easy walk from Cindy's home.
Cindy lives in LA so we didn't meet her, but the house was well stocked and we lacked for nothing. I can easily recommend this house to others and hope to use it myself again while my daughter is in Portland.

This was a great house - plenty of room for 4 adults + 1 kiddo. The house itself is very charming. It has a Brady Bunch / Mad Men vibe that made it extra fun. It's in a residential neighborhood, so it's very quiet but within 10 minutes to a grocery store and small business district with restaurants/shops. We called a cab a few times and he found the house with no problems. It's about a 15 minute ride into downtown.
We appreciated the small collection of kid-friendly stuff (markers, coloring book, small keyboard) for my 4 year old niece - kept her entertained!
Be sure to spend some time in the backyard. There's a grill and patio, plus some huge rose bushes. It was a great place to relax, and even in the hot July afternoons, the yard (and the house) stay relatively cool and comfortable.
Cindy was very responsive to emails and questions and was very easy to work with. Check in and check out instructions are very well laid out, and posted in the house as well.
I would definitely recommend this house to others visiting Portland. It was a great home base!
Cindy was great
