I'm a professor / scholar of American Studies and a professional artist who loves to explore new places, meet new people and host great people like you!
I have taught History and Theater in Guilin and Beijing, China, studied and toured throughout Ghana, wrote quick skits for public health in Jamaica, performed in Dubai and traipsed through Amsterdam. I love to travel, eat across the world, dance, engage in all types of cultural outings and have so much more to do in life. I paused many of my activities when I became a caregiver; but even that experience has made me a better person.
As the saying goes, "travel changes everything" and my world travels have made me enjoy hosting even more. I have hosted people of all ethnicities and from many different countries and it's been wonderful! I love to hear stories about India, Sweden, Germany, Australia, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, New Zealand, Canada, Asia and places all across the United States! When you come to my place, you will encounter books guests have left, German magazines, Seinfeld episodes in Mandarin and children's legos or a copy of "Wall-E." I like to be family-friendly and accessible as a host. As a traveler, I take more risks and get excited about learning new things. I look forward to meeting you and hosting you or staying at your place!
