I am originally from England and met my husband whilst on vacation in the fingerlakes myself! A stunning area with so much to offer!
I love to cook, host, paint, walk, bike ride, sing, dance and make art. My life motto is - My country is the world and my religion is to do good.
I recommend "Prison City Brewery" for food and on weekends some great live music. (check for show dates though).
Both "Merry Go Round Theatre" and "Auburn Public Theatre" Are great Theatre venues with lots to offer check their websites out for some great deals on shows with some featuring professionals from Broadway!
"Wagmans" is the best local store for all your food. Great produce! There are also farmers markets for details visit: (website hidden)
I would definitely visit Anyela's Vineyards. Stunning views of the lake and great wine. Also pet friendly.
"Dougs Fish Fry" Just because
"Patisserie" - Because you must! The cakes are amazing.
In Aurora :
It is soooo worth a trip to the pretty town of Aurora just 30 mins drive away. Home of Wells College, Mackenzie- Childs, Aurora Shoe making company, Water falls, Lake views, and Wineries. Check out "the Fargo" and "Dories" for lunch or dinner!
Wine trails: I personally like the Seneca lake Wine tour. Noteable stops would be "lamoreaux Landing" for some AMAZING WINE! and for AMAZING dinner or live jazz brunch "Stone Cat Cafe" is an absolute MUST!! (website hidden)
We look forward to having you stay!
