Dear Mr. Marx Thank you for writing this review and stating many great things about our staff and the property. We also gave you a great and only positive review on your page. Regarding your your comments on the arrival time we would like to clarify that on the door we left you a number to call but somehow you did not. Also you arrived at a different time that you had previously said. Regarding the fiestas the fiestas it is great that this subject came out so we can reclassify to new guests what we had mentioned on the site and in previous reviews. The fiestas vary a bit in dates, so guests should check on these dates before they book. As a matter of fact some guests look for the fiesta days to book as they love to be here during that time. So we like to state here that we will not ask every guest that books if the fiestas bother him or not, just as if you are booking a hotel during the Oktoberfest in Munich... The hotel does not tell ask you if you are bothered by the festivities or not. From our side and just to help you as a airbnb client, we offered you a 90 square meters 3 bedroom apartment with double glass windows and doors that actually have the bedrooms facing away from the fiestas with ocean view for only 60 euros instead of 149. You refused although we told you that during this time you will not find anything cheaper. Later you admitted that paid much more to go to a much lower standard place. So please let the readers note that we are very proud of our fiestas and guests come from all over Europe specially for them. If you do not like fiestas, don't book. Usually they are about 3 days in January or February and about a week around mid august. Thank you again and we look forward yo seeing you soon.

Dear Mr Meyn Thank you for stating your opinion Regarding the Cons you stated: 1. We communicated with you every time as much as you did not even reply to several of our messages 2. You said you are not used to giving a tip. We respect that, but it surprising that you expect an employee to wait 3 hours after their work schedule has finished and not tip them 20 euros. The great price we give our client does include cleaning, although many establishments charge for that. We prefer not to. There is no place written in your booking that we provide water in the fridge. So why do you expect water water in the fridge. Anyways the pipe water in Alcala is drinkable and in accordance with strict european laws, just as it is in most european countries. 3. If there was anything broken as you mention..... we asked you as soon as you checked in to please communicate to us and we get it fixed on the spot. you did not. The freezer door had been left ajar accidentally, so it created some ice. It was not broken. We clean the dishes and the house for you 5 days a week. So we are surprised you complain about the dishwasher. It would have been nice to ask us how and we would have gladly showed you how it works. 4. You tempered with the wifi when we asked you not to touch it. Actually you did not fix it. You damaged it and we did not charge you for it, although we had to pay someone to come fix it. 5. The little shower head in the big bathtub is not meant to shower... its only meant to clean the bathtub with. So we are not surprised you had to hold it in your hand to shower with it. Thank you for your visit and we are glad that all in all you enjoyed Tenerife.

Dear Mr. Kasper Thank you for saying that the place was beautiful. Its appreciated. Regarding the broken glass... we feel you deserve an explanation for your 10 euros. Our glassware is all from Zara Home. Also Zara Home as you may know changes their collection 2 to 3 times a year and discontinue the previous collection. When a glass breaks we have to change the whole set of 4 glasses and 4 wine cups. That is a cost of more then 70 euros plus tax, and time and petrol to drive about 1.5 hour each way to the closes Zara Home store. Also if there a cup missing you should have informed us as soon as you noticed it. This is written in the house rules when you booked. The truth of the matter is that you broke 2 glasses which can happen to anyone. But stating that you were not happy cause we charged you 10 euros is a bit unfair specially when its costing us 15 times as much. We intend to keep the property with top standards for you and future guests. Thats why you booked with us in a first place... so we are not willing to replace broken cups here and there with 50 cents cups purchased from the corner market.
