Math educator/consultant. Love to garden, cook, and be outdoors. Starting to get more serious about photography. Most of my family is local and I spend a lot of time with my nieces and nephews. They often come to the house.

place was tgerric\fic, host was generous, great choice of food for breakfast, great bed, nice room, quiet. IN all, outstanding!
My stay at Gretchen's home was wonderful. She was a very gracious hostess who gave me lots of space and allowed me free reign over the kitchen. The house was very clean, the bed very comfortable and having a private bathroom was a nice amenity. I would definitely stay here again, it felt like having a home away from home, something you can never get when staying at a hotel.
This was my first airbnb experience and I fear that others will not be able to match it. Gretchen was very responsive and communicative before I booked, even unblocking some dates to allow me a stay longer than was originally possible. I really appreciated her flexibility, the nice room, great patio, and location. She also stocks the kitchen with coffee, tea, and a continental breakfast. She was very helpful with everything from restaurant to real estate advice. Highly recommended.
Very nice place to stay conveniently located
Very nice home and yard. I appreciated the high quality breakfast items and hair products. Since I had flown in, it was nice to know that I did not have to bring shampoo and conditioner.
This home is on a main street which was perfect for me. I was able to walk where I needed to go or could have used the bus. Gretchen was also willing to let me use one of her bikes. The traffic quieted down at night and I did not hear it in my room, which was in the back.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was very bright and sunny. I enjoyed having my breakfast in the back yard.
Great place, great host -- good location for commute north or south. Really enjoyed staying in KentField.
Gretchen is a generous host and has a wonderful place. Room is very nice, VERY confortable bed. Great amenities.
100% certain I'll stay again.
I felt fortunate to stay at Gretchen's beautiful, welcoming guest room. It was extraordinary in comparison to other AirB&B accommodations I have visited. The bed was supremely comfortable with a high thread count bedding, and a sparkling marble bathroom with organic shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The room was spacious, airy and quiet with a large screen LDC TV and a comfy chair and ottoman from which to read. Gretchen was a delightful hostess who offered an amazing breakfast of yogurt, homemade granola (that wasn't Weight Watchers, but was incredible), juice and Peets coffee. I was there to present the Guide Dog puppy I raised to Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafel, but wish I had time to just hang out in her magnificent backyard and just read and watch for deer that amble through. Only 20 minutes to Guide Dogs in San Rafael, an hour to San Fran, and an hour to Napa! I will be back with my husband, if only to catch up with Gretchen and relax.
I stayed at Gretchen's house for a week and really enjoyed it. Gretchen is nice, friendly and accommodating. Her house is quiet and the kitchen is sun-filled every morning with a view to the gardens in the backyard - a great way to start the day. Bedroom and bathroom are nice too. It's a quick drive down the street to a big grocery store and there are some decent restaurants nearby like Vis a Vis. Gretchen made my stay pleasant and I recommend her to you! Thanks Gretchen!
