Dubravka and her family are amazingly kind and generous people. Like everyone else said she met us at the port upon arrival and drove us to the apartment which was lovely. There was a cheese and meat plate, wine and cake waiting for us at the apartment. Unfortunately we did not get to stay long because a storm had taken out the wifi which we needed for work. Dubravka made every attempt to accommodate us and offered to move is to another nearby apartment. The second apartment was even bigger with a huge terrace (and wifi) and we spent the next three days there. After finding out there were no busses running on the day we were scheduled to leave because of a holiday, Dubravka offered to let us stay an extra night at no charge! What an amazing host! When it was time to leave Dubravka picked us up and drove us to the bus station and made sure we got on the right bus to Dubrovnik. Our whole experience was amazing even with the wifi issue. I don't know what anyone could do to be better hosts than Dubravka and her family.
Dubravkas apartment is not like shown on the fotos – it is much better! You have to live in it for some time to get aware of all the details and advantages this apartment offers. It is really well-equipped and furnished with much love for the details; of course it is very tidy and quiet. The views from the windows and from the balcony are really breath-taking.
The location is excellent: You can reach everything easily by walking: the beach, the old town, supermarkets etc.
Dubravka and her husband Roberto are really perfect hosts: When we arrived late in the darkness, Dubravka came to show us the way and the apartment. We were welcomed with several local delicacies: wine, cheese, olives, bread, ham, figs and home-made olive oil – it was just incredible!
Both, Dubravka and Roberto, cared about us thoroughly during our whole stay, giving us valuable recommendations what to do and where to go.
To sum up we can say that we enjoyed our stay in Korcula very much, we really felt like at home and for our next journey to Korcula we will surely book Dubravkas apartment once more.
The hosts went out of their way to help us. They transported us to and from the ferry, left wine juice snacks and home made biscuits for us. They showed us over the apartment and gave sum lots if tourist information.
Dubravka and Roberto were excellent hosts. They greeted us at the harbor and helped us with that luggage back to their apartment.
They showed us the apartment, let us use the washer and dryer for free and even prepared a ham and cheese plate. They also had some wine in the refrigerator for us!
Unfortunately the ferry schedule was less than perfect and we had to leave at 6 am the next day, but Dubravka came at 5:30 in the morning to help us take our luggage to the harbor.
We had a great stay with them!
Both Dubravka and her husband Roberto patiently picked us up from the port and helped us with our luggage as we arrived into Korcula late in the evening. They also had some food for us in the fridge which was very thoughtful. The place is situated close to the old town and we were impressed with our view the following morning. The apartment was really clean and tidy. Roberto also picked us up early Sunday morning and drove us to the bus station for our transfer to Dubrovnik. Exceptional hosts and accomodation.
This is a beautiful, spacious apartment with sea views and located only a short walk to the old town along the promenade. Dubravka was a wonderful host - she picked us up and dropped as back to the ferry port and left a lovely plate of nibbles for us at the house. Can't recommend this apartment enough for your stay in Korcula.
Wow - what an amazing apartment, and Dubrovka and Roberta are amazing hosts!!! They are the friendliest hosts we have encountered on our AirBnB honeymoon around Croatia and Europe. They met us at the evening ferry and drove us the very short distance to the apartment. Roberto helped carry our bags, and they introduced us to the apartment, including leaving us a wonderful plate of Dalmatian cheese, meat, olives and bread, some wine, and even a little bottle of champagne since we were celebrating our honeymoon! When it came to checking out, again they went above and beyond, as they let us stay beyond the standard check out time and also drove us to the bus station!
The apartment is wonderful, especially if you have been traveling for awhile. There were only two of us, so there was tons of room (would be great for a family or two couples), and it had everything you could ask for including a washing machine and dish washer!!
The location is also great, steps from a nice soft pebble beach and restaurants and a very short walk from the old town. There is also a huge grocery store just up the road - the perfect location! We only stayed three nights, but wish we could have stayed more and explore more of the Island.
Simply put, Dubravka and her husband were tremendous hosts, and the apartment was equally as impressive. I could not have asked for more for our stay in Korcula. Dubravka and her husband were nice enough to pick us up from the ferry, provide us with a pristine apartment, provide snacks and drinks, and even went so far as to drive us to the ferry (which left at 6 am). The apartment is a five minute walk from old city and has beautiful views.
Dubravka and Roberto are exceptional and caring people. Everything was organised by them. They picked us up from the ferry and Roberto even walked (it was raining) in order to make space for all of us and our luggage! On arrival they greeted us with local white wine and a delicious food platter. It really felt like visiting a friend. Both took time to chat and show us where to go (especially good was restaurant Radiona).
The apartment is situated only 5 minutes walk to the old town and 50 metres from the Beach. The place was clean and tidy and the rooms modern with amazing views to the ocean and Peljesac peninsula.
We would definitely recommend staying here and visiting beautiful Korcula :)
Thanks very much Dubravka and Roberto!
