Hiroko place is very good since its quiet and safe and near shonan monorail. It also walking distance to convenience store and soba restaurant. She is very kind and even pick us up at the bus station.
Hiroko is a great host. We had some misunderstanding at the beginning due to language barrier but it went very good later on thanks to her extended support. She was also very kind to offer us an extra night due to the typhoon. We owed her a big thank-you for the kindness. The apartment was fully equipped for the stay. Highly recommended
We enjoyed our weekend staying in Hiroko's quiet, comfortable apartment (which is used midweek for Hiroko's health business).
Hiroko welcomed us at the local monorail station which is just a minute or 2 walk away from her apartment. (If only we had such excellent public transport in Australia!) There are also restaurants and a supermarket within a few minutes walk.
The apartment is very convenient for visiting Kamakura, Enoshima and Ofuna.
We were met at the nearby monorail station by Yoko, the owner's daughter and it was a 2 minute walk to the apartment. Needless to say, the location was perfect for us as we wanted to see Kamakura. After staying in traditional ryokans, this apartment was a very welcome change; we had space! . . . a kitchen, a bedroom and a sitting room. The in-room laundry equipment was also convenient, even though the dryer was not particularly efficient - we had to hang up our clothes to dry but it wasn't a big deal. Yoko is a charming woman and is also a masseuse; my partner had a massage in her dedicated massage room in the apartment and really enjoyed it. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the location to friends or family.
The room is located in near to the monorail station and convenience stores but very quiet and cozy to stay.
I definitely recommend the room if you have a plan to visit Kamakura and I myself would like to stay again in the future.
Thank you, Hiroko-san !
Nice place and hospitality. Close to the monorail station. If it were a cooler season, we would be able to walk to Kamakura.
Hiroko was a wonderful host. Very friendly, she Doesn't speak much English, but her daughter does. She also let us check out whenever we wanted. We were able to leave our bags and enjoy the sights until we were ready to leave.
